years ago when i was getting braces i had to have 8 teeth removed, now i've no problems with the dentist, but because of one of the roots on one of my teeth i had to go to a 'specialist' to have one of them removed (the end of the root was like a fish hook and yanking it out could have broken my jaw)

If you have a fear of dentists don't read!
The surgeon gave me a few injections, mouth and face went numb etc etc, so they get to the last tooth to be removed (the hook one) and the surgeon was kneeling on my chest with both knees trying to remove the tooth while i was in the chair (she was a very small woman. . .kinda hot. . . but back to the story)

Now after about 20 mins of pulling the tooth started to come lose but there was quite a bit of blood spit etc all down the plastic gown thingy i was wearing which both the surgeon and her assistant didn't seem to pay attention to. . .

All of a sudden . . *POP* out comes the tooth, i don't feel a thing as my face is still numb, but i do however feel the knee of the surgeon (who in all the mess she created on my chest) slide down my torso and squash my testicles. . .

ended up leaving the surgery basically looking like a zombie what with the bloodied mouth, the moaning and the major limp . . .

Son.Of.Jimi's ultimate pain memory Number 1

    I hope u sued her!!!

-doing tae-kwon-do: wearing a groinguard/cup that was ever so slightly too big. I felt one of my testicles slip outside the guard, so my dick and one of my boys was still inside the cup, one kinda looking to escape (this is underneath the trousers, before anyone asks). I then receive a misaimed kick to the crotch, and the escapee gets crushed in between the guard and my leg. I nearly fainted from that one. Thankfully, it did no permanent damage, either!

-broken nose (tae kwon do again)

    -broken knuckle (TKD)

Tae Kwon Do is a pain in the ass, I was forever cutting open the joint on my toes when kicking the pads, not to mention the number of accidental kicks to the ankle or my toe to their bones......It's never anything really painful, just hella annoying

Haha, I can completely sympathise. One thing that I found incredibly annoying when I first started doing it was I was constantly skinning the soles of my feet and the underside of my toes due to having never really toughened up the soles of my feet before. Big, awful, tender patches of red, newly exposed skin making walking a bitch the next day!

I still loved Tae Kwon Do tho!!!

Sand in my vagina. Nothing worse. The chaffing went on for days.

Had an emergency lancing under my armpit, slapped by a car, had a tooth removed without anastetic, train door closed on my hand, etc.
But having a appendix infection when having to remove my kidney stones. Was the worst experience of my life. Getting upset even thinking about it tbh. Went from 19st to 14 in a little over a month though. :D

I think my fellow galwegian JohnCleary has it though.

Haven't had many painful ordeals but pretty much any hit to the testicles is torture.

Kidney stone by a country mile.

The doc reckoned it's worse than child birth, and he should know.

Couldn't pass it the old fashioned way so they had to head in and whip it out with this long clippers/tube/camera thingy.

What's the story there? Do ya have to p1ss t hem out or what?

Well my ordeal was that my GP never caught it early, although it does creep up on you fairly quick, I pissed one out before what i can only describe as . . . ''UNBELIEVEABLE JEFF!'' pain hit, then i passed out.
got into hospital and they get this massive syringe (and i mean MASSIVE!)
full of Iodine solution and pump it into you so that when they do an x-ray the stones show up. i had one still left in me so they were able to break it down with lasers, at this point in hospital it was a bit of a blur cause i was off my rockers on morphine! :D

Prolapsed lumbar disc + standing in one spot for several hours a day wearing a heavy lead apron = bawling my eyes out trying to get my clothes off and crawl into bed for the 12hrs until I had to get up again for work. That pain was multiplied a thousand times when I had an allergic reaction to the steroid epidural the surgeon gave me as an attempt to avoid surgery.

Severly comminuted fracture of my left femur. The bone completely shattered at the knee joint. Broken right arm at the same time (motorcycle accident) and the 9 months of pain that ensued. I was left lying on a gurney in the Mater hospital for hours with no pain killers.

    Not a nice time.

I've had spinal surgery, bone realignment and various other procedures but nothing will ever compare to the pain I endured when my bike hit a rock, stopped suddenly and I landed astride the crossbar. I lay there for 20 minutes thinking my life had ended:o

Having a medicial drain removed from my neck. This involved having two stitches removed from a still healing hole in my neck.

If you can read this, you're too close!

bladder infection - i.e. pissing razor blades (tom hanks in the green mile remember?) and getting a massive chest tattoo unbearable pain...

Absess in my ass, could barely walk, operated on over night, bliss, no pain. the next morning when two nurses arrived to remove the surgical bandage, wow, that was pain. 45 minutes it took. It would have been easy apparently if they let me take a shower first to wet the bandage. I had a hole in my hole the size of a tennis ball.

Acute appendicitis followed by a burst appendix.

Burst ulcer in my stomach which allowed the acid to leak out and start digesting my insides! The morphine was good though!

Broken ankle. Convinced myself it was only a bad sprain even though my whole foot and up are far as my shin was black with bruising
Went drinking for the weeks after it instead of going to docs and getting proper cast.
Will have to get it broken again at some point to get it set right. It's a bit wonky!

Plus kidney infection (well that's what the doctor said it was), felt like my back was literally broken in two. Complete agony. I'd rather the broken ankle anyday!

Probably having a car door slammed on
my foot when I was younger.

Big toes nail went black and fell off.

Kidney stones at age 10 and 21.

I cannot begin to describe the pain of those but the morphine made the pain go away :)

Having a catheter(sp) shoved up your lad into your bladder......whilst fully awake and in my senses....I cringe even now thinking about it....:o

Partially erupted wisdom tooth growing sideways underneath back molar, caused an abscess. Undoubtedly the worst pain, deep into the jaw and unrelievable. Couldn't concentrate on anything at all. Got the back molar whipped out, and problem solved.

Standing on a pint glass which smashed under my weight that completly cut through my foot and severed most of the tendons.

The huge circular gash went the entire way around the bottom of my foot, but afterwards because of the shape and severness of the wound all the flesh in the bottom off my foot started to die and fall out. Because of this I had to have constant reconstructive work done on my foot every week for about 3 months but they could only give me local anasthetic the first time so all the rest of the work which was pretty much rebuilding nerves and tendons was done without it and my god it was a horrible, painfull 3 months. I'll never forget it!! :(

laying a wooden floor and using 5 cent coins as spacers. must have knelt on those coins a 100 times obviously they were sticking up on their side. the next day my knees were shot to pieces.

Neck spasms where you nearly cry as you get them and then dread the next 2 mins before thay come back again.

I've heard Cluster Headaches are the worst pain a human can experience. Anyone care to verify? They've been known to cause suicide...
