    I still don't get this.

How is she your cousin but you're not blood-related?

If you're not blood related, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

    The fúck happened to E)?

I ate it. OM NOM NOM

Srsly though, It depends on how close you would be and how you and your cousin feel about it. I'd never be able to do anything (y'know) with a family member, blood related or not. Even if my cousin was *sigh* Megan Fox. *prepares for "OMG WTF?!" type replies.

what about your parents cousins kids? how does that pan out.

could have happened a long time ago but any sort of hinkling of a relation is a no no for me!

I'm still finding out about second and third and even FOURTH cousins.
My mum says her memory is going but she can remember all of them!

As for my scottish cousins, don't even know the majority of the first ones, let alone the rest of them.... so I'll avoid Scottish men from now on :p

Ohhh the Irish cousins.......maybe she just doesn't want me dating any of them and simply tells me they are my cousin... O.O

I must admit, I too have several cousins who I'd love to corrupt. :pac:

Were not blood related, only by law.

Sorry could just be missing something totally obvious, but how can you have a cousin who isnt blood related to you?
But thats blood cousins.. I'm not related to her tbh. Only by law

    Does not compute!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cousin
"In kinship terminology, a cousin is a relative with whom one shares a common ancestor. The term blood relative can be used synonymously, and underlines the existence of a genetic link."

So if they're your cousin (and not adopted), YOU ARE BLOOD RELATIVES AND WILL PRODUCE SPIDER BABIES!

Like I said before....this is Ireland. Most people have slept with their parents cousins kids and didn't even know it....

What has more cars and busses on the road got to do with it? (Genuine question, maybe its me being slow but not trying to be smart or anything)
I remember a cautionary tale about a remote village where there was no new blood and unspeakable things happened and there was a lot of competition for the position of village idiot. Even to this day locals check for relatedness when chatting up.

    *shudders*

Can't remember the exact name though, something like Howth

Maybe you should get here a dvd for Christmas
Elvis , he was the king.

though stay away from this one it's hammertime

It can get out of hand though remember WWI involved a bit of infighting between cousins and their empires.

someone please explain how he is related to her? is it his mom or dads sisters or brothers daughter? or some distance cousin,,,,,cant imagine his mom been glad to see her son getting it on with her neice

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,964 ✭✭✭ToniTuddle

    He isn't blood related!!

Some uncle or aunt could have re-married to someone who has a daughter.
Or an aunt or uncle adopted.
