If you have already made some subs & then possibly being forced into using the wildcard, will the points from the subs you have already made still be deducted?
    no

Think I'll be using my Wild Card this week. :(
I have Faye Ab, Lampard, Drogba (?), Van Persie, Figueroa and Collins all injured. Drogba and Collins may be back though leaving me with 4 down and a weak subs bench. Any injuries last night at the Internationals besides O'Shea?

Most of the Irish squad. Broken hearts.

    Sorry that was pretty bad.

Seems you cant be too sure anymore with Mariana Kovacevic and her horse placenta injections. I am glad i waited on Benayoun. Was meant to be out for a month, now there is talk he could play at the weekend :D

I learned my lesson last year. Do not make transfers before international week, or even early in the week unless you desperately are trying to make some money. It's just too risky. I'm proud to say I haven't cost myself one transfer point yet this season and I'm doing okay with 687 - Could be better but is a damn sight better than this time last year

Ballack being doubtful has thrown a spanner in the works, he was supposed to be my replacement for Lampard.

So now I'm bringing Rooney in for C.Cole, and not sure who to bring in for Lampard. Have 9.0 to spend, if anyone has suggestions I'm all ears!

David Dunn seems to be the obvious choice.
has been notching up a good few points lately and has two games this week.

    Posted on another forum.
Key Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks due to a broken rib sustained during the Blues' recent triumph over Manchester United, according to The Sun.

It is expected the injury occurred during a clash with defender Jonny Evans (pictured).
The powerful Ivory Coast international, therefore, is likely to be omitted from Carlo Ancelotti's line-up against London rivals Arsenal on November 29.

Chelsea could also be without Jose Bosingwa and Frank Lampard for that tie, while Ashley Cole and John Terry are also injured.

Following the United upset, club medics scanned Drogba's chest. The conclusion was that Drogba had only suffered bruising.

SunSport, though, claim extensive damage had been done and will cut short his international duty in order to return to Stamford Bridge on Monday.

Although I'm not sure how reliable that is.

The rumour that he's out for 3 weeks has been festering for so long, just off the back of this one sun 'newspaper' story! It hasn't been confirmed anywhere else.

Id be surprised if he doesn't start v wolves or least come off the bench.

ah feck, just saw Saha is very doubtful as well. That's all three of my strikers out (Drogba and RVP as well). (and I play all 3 every week).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,051 ✭✭✭jimbling

ah man, O'Shea is a major doubt as well

Thoughts on my team please. Really ****ed over this week due to injuries and not totally happy with my changes.

    Sorenson

    --Zayatte---Varmaelen---Dunne

    A.Young---Reid---Fabregas---Milner

    Drogba--Bent--Rooney

    SUBS: Hart, Elliott, Bikey, Carr

Had to swap out RVP, Benayoun and waiting to see if Drogba is fit. Need to change Varmaelen in the near future also.

And my sub Cohen is a doubt too.

    So, current team:
    FFTeam_1.jpg

Think I will just make two changes. Use my subs to cover the rest.

    New team:

I'm going to wait until tomorrow to make transfers. Too many doubt about too many of my targets. I still stink Drogba will play though. If not, I'll just bench him.
