His selling price will gradually drop each gameweek I would imagine - he will prob prob to 10.4 over the next 4 gameweeks.
My team is in trouble, Lampard and A.Cole are injured, Collins (Villa) looks to have been dropped. Keogh doesnt even make the bench anymore for Wolves, Etuhu and Behrami are filling space.

My team needs a major revamp this gameweek and I am thinking about making 3/4 transfers and hopefully the 8-12 point hit works out

I got rid of Cole & am taking a 4 point hit to get shot of RVP. Also have Benayoun but not goin takin a further hit this GW. Carlton Cole is also doubtful but Im gonna take a chance on him. Don't think there is much reward in an 8 point or 12 point but that's my personal opinion

Collins was suspended last game, not dropped, has been very good with Dunne for us.

Also, with Boswinga out, people saying Ivanovic, good call I say. Is there any danger another player will take his place or has he done alright?

I presume Zhirkov will replace A Cole, hes not far off fitness. He is expensive though at 7.1... HOw bad is A Coles injury??

Took a 4 point hot and got rid of Lampard and RVP

Brought in Ballack and Rooney but I pondered long and hard over Eduardo and I'm already resigned to the fact that he will score well this week :rolleyes:

Lads, what are ye all on about with Drogba? I presume its due to the kick in the chest, but I cant find anything on him missing from the line up next week.
Says nothing on FF page or on physioroom... and that's normally pretty reliable.

The report was that Drogba wasn't going to play the Ivory Coast game v Guinea as a precaution, but will join up for the friendly against Germany. This was reported by a few outlets. I'd imagine it's because he couldn't be arsed flying down when they're already qualified.

The report that he'd broken a rib was from the Sun and hasn't been reported anywhere else, so i'd guess that's BS. Im hoping this turns out to be the case, because i brought him in last night on the basis no one else was reporting it + ancellotti said something to the effect of 'he'll be right as rain in a few days'.

Drogba would pass out if someone tapped him on the ankles. Until I read it on a more reputable site than the Sun, I won't be selling.

RVP has said he should be back in 4-6 weeks but that's still 5-8 games. I have 2 few transfers so will get rid of him until the new year. I think Eduardo could be a good signing until then.

Arsenal play a 4 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 1 formation more or less.

Arshavin plays on the left hand side behind the striker. Eduardo should fill RVP place.

Mate of mine used the WC and brought in Drogba, Faye, Lampard and RVP. Tough break.

Dubliner, I wouldn't touch Felliani with a bargepole. He's a card magnet and I re3ckon hell get a point against united followed by a suspension. Way better players out there for less money.

Ok, disaster. End of last week stupidly sold Torres brought in Drogba. Had Van Persie too. Just transferred out Van Persie for Eduardo, got 10.4 for Van Persie, but I figure Eduardo will go up, Van Persie will go down, and I can trade back later. Took a 4 point hit.

The question is now what to do with Drogba. Should I transfer him out for Rooney maybe or wait until next week? How much will his price drop?

Never even thought of this possibility... good catch. Avoid him I'd say.

A.Cole injured, RVP injured, Drogba doubtful, Faye suspended, Lampard injured... all the players I have, or were thinking about seem to have dropped like flies.

Thankfully I didn't make the transfers before now to try and make some money. I was playing around with possibilities which left me with 0.0 in the bank. I was sure some prices would go up and screw me over, but I'm lucky I held off now. I'm going to have to cut my loses, get rid of Cole and RVP and another player who keeps losing money and take the 8 point hit and hope I can cling on to top spot in my private league.

Same as myself - was very tempted to make my transfers before the International break, luckily enough I decided against it!!

Where's all this Drogba injured speculation coming from?!

The only source i've been able to find saying he's out for more than 1 game is The Sun "newspaper"

From the reputable sources, he didn't join the squad for Ivory vs Guinea (they've qualified and long journey) and that he'll join the squad in Germany (close by and easy friendly). I'd say Chelsea want the week off for him.

He had a scan after the Utd which showed no break, just bruising.

Anyone have any idea when Zhirkov will start playing. He's down as doubtful yet he didn't seem to be too injured when he went marauding through the Slovenians at the weekend.

got rid of A.cole (inj) van persie (inj) and rodwell (useless)
brought in ivanovic, fabregas and zamora (fulham double gameweek in mind)
decided not to sub out lampard, benched him for the week, hopefully he will be back, drogs is rumoured to be injured but i cant find anything conclusive so im keeping him in.
