Four sugars. Yes, four. And a bit of milk.

    I like sweet things.

Good and strong, with a drop of milk and 1 canderel. Usually accompanied ... with a couple of rocky bars or fox classic bars,
    yum.

    Something is wrong here

Adding water or milk to tea just dilutes the flavour.

For me, I just eat the tea-bag.
Cut out the middle-man of the water & milk.

& besides those who do use water are just pawns of the kettle industry!

Its also how I take my pot noodles.

I know you're taking the piss with the pot noodles comment, but they actually are lovely straight out of the packet. Well, maybe not pot noodles in the cups, but super noodles or whatever's in the packet.

Guess it's not the "done thing" here, but back home all the schoolkids get packets of super noodles, add the little flavour packet, shake it around a bit and just eat them like crisps.

I always weird everyone out when I do that here.. :o

With no cup, not afford one.
    With a lot of milk.

So I guess it goes somewhat like this.

    1. Place tea bag on tongue.
    2. Boil kettle.
    3. Pour water into mouth.
    4. Add milk?

    How efficient of you! :)

That's not right, at all .

As for the tea, bit of milk's the way to go, and a small bit of sugar.

Strong, small drop of milk and 2 or 3 sugars depending on the size of the cup or bowl (we run out of cups fairly fast). I don't mind black tea but I can't stand really milky tea, even looking at it makes me feel sick
tea... from a bowl? that sounds amazing:D
must try that one out, although i have had tea from a glass, now that was weird!

I leave my tea bag in the water for a while so its really strong, and then add a good bit of milk, not loads now, just enough to cool it down. And no sugar. Sugar should never have been allowed into tea!!!!

Damnit now im dying for a cup...

It's nice. It's incredibly common where I grew up. Though I've found the noodles over here are kind of crap. The brand Mr. Noodles is great for it.

You're just not a hardcore tea drinker, I mean, there's extreme ironing, and then theres extreme tea drinking! :pac:

suzie_q: Most Irish people love tea, but apart from that there is a lot of contention.

According to the official website, extreme ironing is "the latest danger sport that combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt."
    I actually laughed out loud:D

Keogg: I must go on an extreme ironing trip before I die. Infact a forum on boards wouldn't go a miss.

Mossy Monk: Posts like that are the reason we need a thumbs down button!

I don't like tea and felt it was my duty to inform everybody of my hatred for tea by posting in a thread about how tea drinkers like their tea.

Why is there's no option for the people who don't like tea? I hate the stuff. It tastes horrible but the smell of it is worse. I can't stand the smell of it. The sink in work reeks of it. It almost makes me feel like vomiting sometimes.

I normally like strong sweet tea in the morning, and a little milkier at night.

Sometimes I mix a teaspoon of hot chocolate powder into my tea,so I have a strange but nice tea/chocolate mixture.
I also love anything with caramel dipped into tea.

I tried putting marshmallows in my tea for a while, it was actually fairly good :)

On the tea front though, what kind of biscuits do people eat when they have tea?

Rich Tea are fairly awesome, I've been known to have cookies and chocolate digestives too though :)
