Whats your source for this Lockerbie bombing theory then davrho? Or have you just made it up?

    .

So the double standards begin. Maybe an insider said this or locker room gossip. Any chance of some names of the witnesses of these insider says and locker room heat stories?

Is it realy that crazy to suggest a Scottish wrestler has suddenly from going nowhere has been propelled to the second show status because scotland is now a topic of conversation in the states?

Proof? lol. Where is the need for proof as all you take HHH stories as gospel.

Insults? Possibly a wind up? You could be onto something here?;)

At least i am getting folk talking more than the norm here.

    Another question.

In JR's blog not too long ago he openly questioned McIntyres commitment ,atitude and abilities. Surely he would have known if this was HHH's next big push?

Lads keep it civil please, no need to bait each other. Both sides make a valid point.

    LOUL gerard.

Now that I think of it, Mark Henry's big push on RAW has co-incided with the first black man taking control of the White House.

Maybe Evan Bourne will be Main Eventing soon seeing as how another scrawny streak of misery has taken over the Late Late recently?

Maybe they'll debut a gay Corkman on Smackdown next week now that Donal Og has come out of the closet?

I'll give you credit davrho, quality wind-up, you had me going there for a while.

Here's my opinion of Wrestling "reporters"

    Dave Meltzer
He is probably the main reporter that I would think of. He is well respected by all forms of journalism (Some guy in Sports Illustrated said he was the best journalist in the world). He writes for Yahoo on MMA. Observer is the best newsletter in PW.

    Wade Keller
PWTorch is a good site. He is a good writer and does good shows. Bruce Mitchell is good too.

    Bryan Alvarez
He is a cool guy. He loves the whacky side of pro wrestling and does great shows with his co-host Vinny Verhei. His newsletter is the Observer-light IMO but he is great when it comes to entertaining his subscribers. Merger with Wrestling Observer was the best thing that could have happened to him.

Vinny is the man, I love his take on things and how dare you forget to mention almighty Granny when talking about the B&V show.

When was the lockerbie bomber released?

After Drews Entrance Video appeared on the net? To be honest I have no idea if that was his actual entrance video but if it was "Leaked" before the bomber release its shows us he was already in line for a debut.

TBH, I think Meltzer needs Alvarez as much as the other way round. Dave would be lost without him on the radio shows and Alvarez makes that site like a big comunitee by interacting so much making it harder to unsubscribe. the board is one of the best things about F4W

The Board~! is the best thing about F4W now that Dr.Keith's show finished. Alvarez has made a good community spirit there no matter how annoying the Yanks are.

Alvarez needs Dave more though. Without Dave he wouldn't have the radio shows and a lot of subscriptions have come from Dave joining up full-time.

His feud with rovert was a million buys.

Also I've been a member well over a year now but I still only understand about 25% of what goes on. Though I enjoy the sh*t out of that 25% I have to say.

I was 1 of the original online subscribers to the Figure Four site in June 2005. I used to listen to Bryan and Dave on Eyada back in 2000/01 and decided to give it a shot.

I subscribe to the Torch but really just for Bruce Mitchell. I don't always agree with him but I like his take on things.

The development show that's been the launchpad for the likes of Kofi, Punk, Swagger, Bourne, and The Hart Dynasty.

He is fueding with Shelton, Drew is fueding with R-Truth. Shelton is a bigger star quite frankly, so technically Sheamus is getting a bigger rub from it. Drew just got dropped from the PPV match too, is the media after cooling down on the Scotish lad over there or something?

    Yes. Thats its purpose.

Why did Drew not take this route, yet?

Yes the media is cooling with Scotland. Rumours the guy they released died today so it could rekindle.

Why are folk denying that wwe use current affairs to push wrestlers?
    American /French problems .French heels
Middle East problems. Loads of heels through the years
Russia, Japan. Its happened for years. Why would they stop it now with the Scots pissing them off.

Maybe because its not been reported that much in Irish press but companies have removed pipers and tartan and stuff like that from their products. Maybe a few months stay in the states for a few on here would open your eyes to the lunatic patriotism you get in the states. The scottish press is reporting it quite heavily.

Earlier in the thread mentioned JR's blog. I have confused two seperate articles. The article was talking about Drew and Seamus saying they were doing well but had a lot to learn. JR also reckoned they would have a run on ecw. Sure it was discussed here at the time too. My mistake.

Gerard. With Drew getting dropped from the ppv does this not blow apart the argument that he is getting a push because HHH likes him too? Why would they drop HHH's new best mate?

Why would they drop him when as you say yourself the Lockerbie story is about to "rekindle." Proves f*ck all, apart from the fact that you're persistent if nothing else.

I'd imagine they realised that nobody was taking the Smackdown team seriously and changed it.

But why would they drop HHH's new golden boy and lookalike? Does this not put serious doubt into the original report? HHH runs the show and does not care what anyone else thinks according to these dirtsheets? What changed?

I suspect the original report was speculation and guess work with no real "journalism" involved. The anti-HHH brigade as usual jump on the band wagon without thinking there are major flaws to the story. Drew being dropped has shown the report for what it was, as rubbish.

He's been dropped from this PPV because along with Eric he has been getting no reaction from the crowds and the dudes that are now on the SD team are bigger stars. Simple logic and I doubt Hunter a guy who knows the business inside out will be to annoyed.

The reason why he did not start on ECW I would assume would be due to the fact their was no room for him on the show. They are pushing Ryder, Seamus, The Regal faction and even Burchill again, they even had to turn Shelton recently to even it out. Drew has been on the WWE books since 2007 plus he has been working dark events and house shows for an eternity (he even wrestled Steamboat a few months ago) so its not like they don't know he can work.

So we agree the original journalism was utter crap?

maybe he was pushed because hes been in fcw for a few years and considering wwe are recently pushing all the new talent coming up they decided they may give him one to.....not a real conspiracy in my book
