Funny how people get wound up by these things. Seriously its not like he was a musical prodigy or genius. Fair play he was a cute popstart but this is the AFter Hours Forum if a genuine Music legend died the thread would be moved to the Music Forums, ie when Darren Sutherland died his thread was moved to the Boxing forum.

Like a lot of other girls, it broke my heart when he came out as gay. Loved Boyzone back in the day and am so glad I got to see them at the Meteors in '08. Released a bit of the inner child in me so it did...

By saying it was a tragic accident must mean there was some unitentional external action invloved which led to the death.
I mean you dont go to bed and accidentally not wake up.
So i would imagine there is more to it.

Never a fan of either Stephen or the band but to see a young lad die at 33 yrs is terrible. He had a bright future and seemed a good person. RIP.

Believe it or not, people of all ages do "go to bed and accidentally not wake up".
Many things may have happened - and Im sure by the middle of the week, it will become more apparent what has happened. Perhaps you can wait until then before entering into more idle and unfounded speculation?

I had no time for Boyzone's yelping but this is tragic for the guys partner and his family.
