    Finally got past mission 3,the last objective where you have to defend the village is a bitch of a mission.

    Imho, no. General consensus is that pc gamers aren't happy with this game at all, whereas console gamers are ok with it. This is a type of game genre You don't see much of on consoles, but has been done a few times on pc, much better than this. The graphics are terrible and controls are very clumsy, its another shoddy port with no thought going to the pc version. The Single player is only 5-6hours long and the multiplayer is completely broke and consolised, no joining an already running game and no dedicated servers

    Get Arma II instead, its much better than this

    I find it hard to believe You got Arma II on pc and this on Xbox

    I'm getting some freezing issues. Downloading the latest nvidia drivers to hopefully solve my problem.
    I'm liking the game so far. Controls are taking some time to get used to but I like the way its very tense as you die quite easily.

    Well, I have just completed the first mission completely, all secondarys covered, and it's brilliant.
    Sure, you never get to see the whites of the enemies eyes, you mostly snipe at long range, but so what?
    I got the thrill of stealing a Chinese chopper, flying it in, low, over a beach before dropping it hard, diving out and assaulting an enemy pillbox before destroying an antiship missle emplacement,
    Awesome!

    I really like this game,
    HaloODST is fun and all, but it's really just a toy, like COD4 compared to this!

    That said, a reskinned Operation Flashpoint, with Human Vs Covenant instead of US Vs China could be the best idea in years!

    PLayed Coop with Pog and pog junior there, game much much better in coop.

    I kinda like it :D

    Yep, this game has been saved from total disgrace by its 4 plr coop which works and is fun. Although we had to play on lan with hamachi as the Codemasters servers were down for hours.

    A stupid bug in the game that won't allow You to alt+tab back into the game once You leave, ended it sudenly for us. With no join in progress the only way to get back in is to restart the hosted game completely, fcukin retarded.

    Bah, I'm out. I tried again but can't find anything fun about it. It's uninstalling now and will be in the bin shortly. I was going to try MP, but just can't bring myself to double click that icon ever again.

    Coop online is actually good, as you can see from my posts previously im not a big fan of the game. but i do love coop.

    But we may get about 6 hours coop out of this game online then its done. Mission editor seems easy to use to that can be a problem too with anyone making missions for it. Good stuff gets lost amonsgt the muck.

    i intend to clear it in coop so altho i said it was crap in single player, i reserve judgement on the game a whole until i clear with 3 mates.

    just installing this at the moment on ps3 will give my first verdict after first mission.It's obvious that it didn't suit the pc users so fingers crossed for the ps.Here goes!:)

    It's not really grabbing me to be honest, the bobbing motion is pissing me off so much. The AI is incredibly stupid also, just standing there in the open firing at you, they also have the ability to see you through a whole forest and fire at you. The AI team mates firing at an enemy 500 meters away at a mere glance is head wrecking too. I'm not too fussy about graphics for games really but this just looks clunky and brown. I played the first single player mission, died on the second and just can't be bothered to go back really.

    Overall I'd give it a 5/10, not worth the money.

    Is ArmA II any better ?

    Aaargh! I can't even create a multiplayer account! Every time I try I get a 'your connection has been lost' message. Any one figured out how to solve this? Until then, it's back to battlefield for me...

    their servers are busted, use hamachi and play via lan.

    Yes i have ARMA II, was a release day buy...what a mistake, feels like it was cobbled together, seriously the bugs in this game, how the f**K did playtesters miss them!

    Flashpoint is ten times better, without a doubt.
