After mistakenly reading last year's timetable (cue baza calling me a n00b) I'm now happy enough with this year's one!

Don't mind only one sleep in too much, just glad we get off early-ish on Wednesday and Friday.

That French thing, I guess I'll be doing that. Am I an Applied Scientist? I can pretend.

Looking at the second year timetable, anyone else notice there's nothing on it for 2E5, 2E6 or 2E7? Which means that our apparently nice timetable is gonna have an extra 6 hours (at least) thrown on top of it. Someone please tell me I'm wrong...

hope I dont think its wrong. I think we have half the subjects before Christmas and half after. So the hours should be less this year, in regards to lectures anway.:)

This seems pretty good, the question is will be just covering the same material in less time though?

Hope you're right. The website says that 2E7 is only in term 2, but that 2E5 and 2E6 run through the year. That said though, it doesn't look like it's been updated for our new semesterised system, so who knows. Fingers crossed that that is the final timetable, it really does look nice :)

Dr. O'Kelly gave us a link to all the downloadable 2E4 bric-a-brac, which was nice. Sure beats Svhets trying to withhold as much useful material as he could. Did anyone spot that in the times in the .pdf he gives us on tutorials don't match up with what we're timetabled for?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,488 ✭✭✭mathew

I noticed the majority of the links in the pdfs for all years are wrong!!!!
They either go to the wrong place or have errors..

Well something's definitely amiss when he refers to the groups as "numbers x to y" rather than A,B,C etc.

No Philips heads. I'll get my dad to bring one up... but even that probably won't make a difference. It's 2 floors away. Gonna try to use the WRT54GS as a repeater but it seems pretty complicated to setup.
