When you're saying you were searching/reading around Google how can you say this in Irish?

I had written 'bhí mé ag léamh thart Google' and then realised the thart was all wrong, and that it would be 'thar' at least.. but I'm still thinking there is a more natural/colloquial way to say this rather than 'bhí mé ag léamh thar Google'.. 'Bhí mé ag cuardach ar Google?' B'fhéidir?

Bhí mé ag léamh suíomheanna (ghreasáin) ó Google?

I think the main problem is - would you phrase in any language the above sentence

it seems oddly worded - people would generaly say they were reading (maybe add internet) and sometime if relevant state they got them from google

although neither is needed really - unless this is purely just wondering on structure and grammar etc ?

    I came up with:

    'Rinne mé cuardach ar Google'

    Déanfaidh sé cúis!

I wanted the meaning of 'reading/searching around Google'. I substituted around for on and got Ar. Simple in the end.

You could also just say Chuardaigh mé Google. Cuardaigh can mean 'to search something' (i.e. a house) or 'to search for something' (i.e. an escaped prisoner).

I like thee word Aimsigh myself.

    Aimsigh mé *** ar Google?

When your 'cuardach' is complete, then 'aimsigh' would come in to play, when you have found what you were searching for.
