i don't go mad drinking unless on a weekend away with group or special occasion

this saturday my mate drove me and few others to another town
round of drinks in first pub €15, round of drinks in second bar €15, entry into nightclub €10, round of drinks in nightclub €15, stuff in chipper after €5, thats a usual saturday night for me, often less than that though as i normally wouldn't drink that much or go to a nightclub instead choosing the free late bars

I've got away with 50euro's a few times I am a student though and have no shame in getting the nite-link. That leaves 45 for entrance and getting pissed..pre-drinking helps a bit aswell :D

On saturday night just gone i spent a total of 0 euros:D

Concession entry to a birthday party in a club, free drinks tokens = a happy me:D

Normally going out (when i can be bothered) i'd prob spend up to 70 quid including taxi.

    p.s. i am a student too:P

6 cans of dutch 8 euro
    bottle of buckfast 11 euro
get throught the bottle of buckfast and a couple of cans..

stroll into town (galway) and normally get stamps for a night club or head to roisin dubh..
maybe spend another tenner on pints, already pretty hammered after buckfast and cans..
    fiver on food afterwards.

i'd normally spend 35euro and have a great night.. if i go pub drinking, it's 3 euro a pint so it's not gonna be much more than 35euro either.

i might sound like a student but i wear a shirt to my 35 hour week.

One of the cheapest nights out I had consited of 5 & 1/2 bottle of tesco wine at €3.25 each. Actually couldnt fit anymore alchol in.

Usually about €150 for a proper session
Usually about €60 for a mediocre session

3 bills a drink on a saturday thats top notch!! Where that?
McGowans/Rodeo Joes in Churchtown. €3 a bottle/shot, €4 a pint. €10 in but I have the platinum card so I never have to pay.

I haven't been there in a couple of months though but it's handy because it's close to home and I know everyone there. I usually go to my mates first and have 5-6 Corona's (€10), go in for free, have 6-7 bottles (€21) and maybe 2 shots (€6). Then when we're home I cook a pizza (€3).

That's €40 all in. Sometimes you get drinks bought and then you return the favor, it's the same everywhere though.

Half litre bottles at €3 is a bargain and a half. Wheres that?
Kebab for €2.50, did you have to make it yourself?

    NOT Dublin!

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Some of you spend way too much on a night out!

I'd usually spend around €20 on a Saturday, €30 at the most.
    Last Saturday:
€7.50 6 pack of beer, had some friends round for pre-pub drinks. They shared their vodka and absinthe.
    Walked into town
    €2.50 sex on the beach
Free into a club, I knew the stamper and he gave me a free pass
€5 shot of Jager and was bought another by a friend
    €2.20 slice of pizza
House party where I was given beer
    €5 towards the taxi

So I spent €22.20, got fairly trashed and had a really good night.

Last Saturday night we were staying in a hotel for a training weekend. Accommodation, food and entertainment were covered, so all we had to pay for was drink. My total spend came to €5.90.

    2 x softdrinks @ €2.95
    2 x pints of water @ €0.00

My feet are still killing me!

Possibly the best night out so far this year.

My usual Saturday night out is usually fairly drink free, involves plenty of dancing, and one of my friends usually drives. Last of the big spenders, me!

    Are ye all serious??
I'd be lucky to have 30 euro on a night out! And that includes buying fags!
Ye all need to start drinkin at home before ye go out.

Yeah I agree Cheese. ****ing lunatics here. When I lived in germany, 10 euro was enough to get me ****faced. So I have to do the same here!

Usually about €20 - 30. Transport costs nothing (annual bus ticket), don't drink heavily so a few pints will do.

Last Saturday, Transmission in the button Fac,
Bottle of Absolut split with gf E11
    Can left in fridge E0
    Pint in the gingerman E4.50
    Door price E5
    2 bottles of sol E10
    Mac Donalds E5
    Walk home E0

    Total E35.50

Have about 1/3 of the absolut left too,tbh the 3 beers and mac Donalds were unnecessary as we brought vodka in with us and I had food at mine so couldve been done for E15.50, also you can get cheaper booze than absolut:rolleyes:

afraid to look at wallet yesterday, only checked this morning before work,
bout €150 last sat, 20 smokes and 1 taxi for probably 25 spooks included,
    no food:(

out @ 3-30 should have went home @ 10-30 after about 12 ciders
but thought it was better to go to a late bar bang in another 4pints and 4 or 5 shots........didn't spend much on sunday though:o

Some of the posts here are actually beyond belief....is there anyone truly well off enough that €200 for a casual night out is insignificant or a necessity?? Mine would be like this....

    1/2 Bottle Vodka/Mixer: €9
    2 Cans: €5
    Club: €5 or free
    Drinks in club: €10 (2 dbl vodka&RedBull)
    Food: €5
    Home: €7.50

So roughly about €50. Depends really, sometimes its much less. Wouldn't matter if I had 100 or €1000 in my bank account, it's always the same.

My friend actually had a night like this once..god why would you bother:

Child Fare to town: €1.40 (he was 18)
3 Cans Cheapest Lager available: €3.90 (he hated it)
    Nightclub: €5 (in change)
Home: Walk or scab a lift (it was 10 miles)

Saturday night - About €30 for a bag of grass, €6 for a takeaway the odd time and maybe €3 to chip in for a taxi home if I'm feeling lazy. The grass would do me most of the week then though of course.

On a friday night - about €8 on cans or bottles, €20ish in the pub on pints, €6 for takeaway, maybe another €6 on more cans if I fancy drinking past 2am.

If I only had €20-30 to spend I wouldn't bother going out to my local, never mind town. I've done it once or twice before and I couldn't enjoy myself because I was forcing myself to slow down and I was sipping slowly while my mates were drinking away. When I drink I don't mean to get hammered, but I want to get a buzz. I would ask how some of you get away with €20 on a Saturday night but a lot of you have 1-2 drinks and leave it at that. I wouldn't bother.

If by one or two you mean bottles of Tesco/Kinsey Vodka then yes, that's precisely how we get away with it. :)

I could spend anywhere from €50-€200. But that's mainly because I have a drinking problem and can handle way too much drink sometimes. Also sometimes going out on a sat "night" means starting at 11 or 12 that morning and staying out till after closing time which isn't good for the wallet.

65 euro on average. 15 euro of that on a taxi home.

went out with theother half in town a few weeks ago and spent 220eur between us, we got a lift in so cost us nothin, 20eur into club and 20eur home in taxi rest went on drink, needless to say that was the last time i went to town.

if i go out with my friends its usually no more then bout 30eur, 12eur for a shoulder of vodka which is drank before i go out and then walk to the local and 3 pints in the local 15eur, and believe me that does me fine.

i refuse to go out in town and fare play to all of you's who has the money to.
