Something abit similar happened to me afew years back. I was standing just up the street from a chipper one nite, waiting for a friend of mine, minding my own business and bothering no-one, when this little scumbag of a one bursts out from her flat and tells me to get to "fúck off up the street cos Ill wake the child" I said to meself fair enough, whatever the crazy bitch is havin, and walked up 10 or 15 yards to stand in front of someone elses house while i waited. 2 minutes later shes out on the street again and shouts up at me "Did you not fúckin hear me, i told ya to get up the street!"

I had had a fair bit to drink, and was gettin sick of this fool, so I just shouted back at her I didnt know what her problem and was and to go in to hell out of it. Bad idea! Next thing shes running up the street and lays into me like Mike Tyson, boxing me in the face as hard as possible. I wasnt about to hit her meself, although in hindsight I probly should have done something, but it was the sheer shock of it that got me. She knocked me burger outta me hand, and it was more with the annoyance of losin a good burger - I was full of pints and gaggin for food that I shouted out - you ****in bitch!
She runs back into the house, I thought jaysus what was that? Next thing there was this massive commotion and out comes 3 big fúckers, 2 of em skinheads, shoutin and balling. Me friend who had come on the scene just that second and hadnt a clue what was happening, got an almightly punch in the face that flattened him there and then and only for the intervention of a couple of older fellas who were nearby, I was looking at getting hopped by 3 crazy scumbags.
