    hahahahahah, sounds about right. Nice to hear you made a goose of yourself though. Were you on sdrr ? For some reason my version of that is a deathmatch one, and I'd rather die than play in some deathmatch server. But I have no time for it anymore anyway.

    It is indeed 5am. And that's 7 hours to 12, a respectable hour from which one can plan trips into the city, and sleeping 7 hours means you live longer. Yup Yup.

    tons of people wer writing into fm104 about 4 lights hovering in the sky over the wicklow mountains, was kinda scary listening to all the reports! lol

    I don't know about other societies... so, the name and an icon. And I'm thinking Veg Soc... as opposed to Vegetarian Society or Veg*n Soc, however tempting :)

    I saw pix of the lights in the mountains all right, thought you were just being crazy with your Vulcans, klingons, Goa'uld or the Asgard talk. :p

    So i had me a good day today, training session went well (2nd in 3 days) and finally played over 80% of the notes on the hard setting for "Holiday in Cambodia" in guitar hero arcade:D:D

    Was driving my bro to doctrors then chemist and shops earlier aan was on dual carriageway at about 100. I think I need a heavier car, the wind was nearly blowing me sideways! was a bit crazy.

    In other news I've looked for jobs for so long and instead of somebody replying to ANY of them, I accept a masters yesterday... just to learn something new while waiting. Lo and behold I get not one, but 2 emails today saying they saw my CV asking would I come in for interviews to be a consultant or a software engineer, both in dublin too sigh, what to do...
    35K + Health Cover, Pension with that being negotiable or being a bum student in trinity...maybe should just do interviews to see anyway...

    I would go for those interviews tbh, just to see how you feel about finally and hopefully working:) The salary and benefits so far sound nice, sure let us know how you got on, and can you defer the masters? if not just tell em to take you off the course should you accept the hopeful job offer:D

    Congrats on the job offers! Funny how life does this to you.
    I guess the jobs would be worth trying for, seen as after a masters you would still be looking for those kind of jobs again. At least Trinity don't start til Oct, so you have a bit of time, if they rush the interviews. Still, they are only interviews and they may have similarly asked 5 others to come in for interviews too... so it would be terrible to miss out on the masters and then have no luck with the jobs. Best plan is to ring and ask if it would be possible to come in for an interview next week. If you like them and get the job; cool. If not, nothing lost (except the fare to Dublin!).

    Try to hold off on paying Trinity, if you can ;) Once the money goes in, you might not necessarily get a refund. I wouldn't worry about a deferral. Live in the 'here and now' :D

    Edit: And if you have your full drivers licence soon, the employers will love that.

    User settings --> user control panel --> edit options --> thread display options --> show 40 posts per page :D and you will see that it is really page 38 ;)

    it's the thought that counts :)

    will speak with someone about it during the week and then submit the plans. the next hearing for new societies and such is in about 2 weeks, so no rush now. but i'll miss out on freshers week :( and the guy in charge did try to put me off the idea. pah!
    will think about at cinema...
    i hope all your thinking doesn't distract you from the film too much! Enjoy :)

    Well, you won't have to compete with other Socs at Freshers Week. But you come into your own on 1st Oct for International Vegetarian Day (a Thurs, how convenient) and Nov 1st, World Vegan Day (A Sunday, but sure, you could do a scenic walk, ending up at the Happy Pear...and with some notice, they might lay on a better choice of vegan mains for you and your merry troupe :D).
