Do you get on with your siblings?

Have a lil sis.
She's collecting her LC results tomorrow.
Gonna laugh in her face just at the moment her jaw drops and she realises she hasnt got enough points to do the course she wants.

I'm the youngest of 3, and have two older sisters. I get on very well with both of them, but I'm very close to my middle sister in particular.

I think that with very big families, there's more scope for not getting on well with some siblings.

I'm youngest in a family of 4, 2 sisters and 1 brothers. Get on great with them, of course there was the usual fights when we were kids, but couldn't foresee a future situation were i would fall out with any of them.
We had a death in the family 9 years ago, so i would say that brought us closer.

I have two older brothers and get on with them really well. We're not totally chummy, but will go to the pub or to a gig together. I did go through the hating them phase, as did they. But We're all in out 20s now (Well me almost!) so we've over all that!

i do get on with my brother, but i think that he can be an arrogant twat some of the time but i think that that is a family thing as i have often been accused of it myself:(

I'm the youngest of six. I'd say we all get on very well together, mainly because we're family but also because we're all decent people. Any time we go out for a family dinner or something it's like a bunch of friends having a laugh even though the ages range from 22 to 42.

You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family.

Im the eldest of 5 - 2 younger brothers and sisters. We all get on good now but battered each other when we were younger.. Great Fun!

I have one younger sister. I do not get on wih her at all. She's really big-headed and think she's worthier than everyone else. She's also a snob. I can't wait til she's older and has to get a job and realises that not everyone thinks the sun shines out her ar*e like my parents. She'll come begging to me and I can laugh in her face.:pac:

same here, 1 brother and sister, both younger
used to fight viciously with my sister, still have the odd screaming match but we've learned to be able to laugh at ourselves a bit more

they could've had 6 more after my sister, i wouldn't have cared. she was my direct competition:D:D

I have 6 brothers and I am the only girl. I love them all to bits and we spend alot of time together. We socialise together too and would speak on the phone most days. My boyfriend is an only child and sometimes he doesn't understand why I spend so much time with them but I really think of them as my friends.

People all seem amazed at how/why we get on so well but I couldnt imagine it any other way.
I look at my sisters as best friends and my brother is just adorable!!

Wer a really close family so it makes for happy house.........almost all the time

I'm second eldest of seven, we get on grand most of the time. As in, we rarely fight any more - we used to absolutely batter each other when we were younger, my parents spent more time in A & E than anywhere else!

I have to admit though, I would consider myself to be closer to my friends than I am to most of my younger siblings. I suppose it's only natural, when you have so many people of different ages and with different interests, you're just not going to have a whole lot in common with all of them. And weirdly enough, while I have plenty of male friends, I'm a lot closer to my three sisters than my three brothers, seems very sexist or something.

It's nice to have a family that gets on well overall though. No long-term feuds or rifts. It's great when everyone's home for Christmas, for the first few days anyways ... then it just starts getting a bit claustrophobic.

One younger brother and one younger sister.

Get on grand with my brother. We're only a year apart so we're fairly similar. Though he's quite a bit more intelligent than me so that does exert a bit of stress between us. Not much though.

Get on fine with my sister as well. Just a tad over protective of her at times though. I was very innocent when I was younger (and still am, to a certain extent) so I tend to forget that she wouldn't need as much protection.

All get on pretty well, no major dramas, feuds etc.

And very thankful for all those christmas days as a kid, can't imagine what it would be like being an only child!

Get on with the lil bro great. He's 11 now though so expecting things to rapidly deteriorate in the next few years until he needs me to buy him drink. Little shít.

Sis is a different kettle of fish altogether. Im covinced she has multiple personalities. I get on with half of them great though.

I'm second youngest of 14 and we're a very close family, apart from my brother (long story)....I get on with most of them most of the time...we do argue but thats what makes us close, we don't hold anything back

3 brothers, 1 sister. 2 of the brothers live at home as do I, we all get on great! Really close bunch, piss taken out of each other all the time lol. I get on best with the youngest, he's 18 I'm 20. We talk a lot more now that we're "off age".
