For once I'd agree with capital punishment

Though tbh, something like this needed to happen to draw a line under the failings in how social services operate in the UK.. if the baby didn't die there'd be alot of things that wouldn't have changed, and alot more children would have suffered

Retribution from whom in jail?

These scum will be housed with fellow scum who couldn't give
a toss about their crimes. Barker will be locked up with fellow vile
animals and the chances are they will get their kicks out of telling
their crimes. There is no way that Barker will be housed with the

The talk might die down, but what they did was so grotesque that the mere mention of it will set blood boiling again. I agree with you in saying that one shouldn't stoop to their level. I do think however, they deserve to die. They'd get the lethal injection if I had my way.

What a pity the child didn't get the same protection. From reading of the article, the guy got "life" as in 10 years and his rape sentence was to be served "concurrently" (like wtf is that about) with his manslaughter sentence.

5 years for the woman is frighteningly short. She'll probably be out in 3. Society's morals will dictate that we allow her to leave with her reproductive system intact as well. Ready to produce another toy for her amusement.

Yes, life, with a minimum of ten years to be served. That struck me as odd. I have never heard of a life sentence with a minimum? A life sentence has no minimum, or at least it should not have. I smell a rat here. Gotta' be honest, if it was a relation of mine, I would gladly butcher that bastard and serve my time.

Beat up his grandmother twice and was being brought to court for attempted manslater

was beating up his friends girl friend

Beat up her kid and killed him.

Raped a 2 year old girl...

You know the worst thing.. He isent paying for his crimes.. he has not accepted his crimes so will not change, as he sees it he did nothing wrong..

Most brutal murders don't come close to the scale of torturing someone to death over the course of the year. If it had been an adult they were holding prisoner, the crime would be just as heinous.
