:D:D Never had such a laugh at these prices, the prices quated were what you would pay for drinks down in Cork City in the height of the celtic tiger, and now people in Dublin think this is a great deal:D, in cork city at the moment i pay 2.90 for a pint of Guinness in a popular bar in the city centre 7 days a week and i only pay 2.50 for a pint of Beamish in a few other bars down here, jeez i have to wonder do Dubliners like getting it up the Ass from the pub owners.

On the other hand, you live in Cork.

    Dubliners win I reckon.

The Vaults in the IFSC has half price on all drinks from 5-8pm on a Friday evening

Is that not a happy hour type situation and hence not allowed?

Cheers for the list man will come in handy if I can remember it on a night out!

    True, more selling drink.

This euro thingy is a pain in the ass.
The government should follow the rest of the sane world and do away with 1c, 2c, 5c coins and use electronic transactions where possible and don't charge a fee for everyone.

Safe waking up in the morning with a load of shrapnel in your pocket.

No thanks. I don't trust drunken ShooterSF and it's why I take out cash and leave the card at home on a night out!

Have to laugh at all the dub's thinking €3.70/€4 for a pint is suddenly a great deal. Rip-off price + small reduction = still a rip off / Septic Tiger days price for rest of Ireland.

I'm from Kildare, and those prices are good compared to where I live.
Roughly €4.50 for a pint all around the town.

cost of living in general is higher in Dublin, and average wages too :)

Those €3 shots in Karma, does that include the split?

Typical, the OP tries to start a thread letting people know about about a few cheap boozers in Dublin which is where he's from i assume, fair play OP,but noooo everyone from outside of Dublin has to pile in with big offended heads on them because the OP didn't post up a list of the cheapest boozers in Cork, Galway etc.

Get a fcuking grip people, i'm sure if yous gave the thread a chance the good folks from their respective counties will do everyone a good turn just like the OP and fill us in on where to get some lovely cheap delicious pints.

Every thread in this forum turns into a Dublin vs The other 31 free for all, it's fcukin sad to be honest.

I was in The Portobello in Dublin the other day and it was 4 euro pints all day which wasn't bad, i assume that offer is on everyday.

It's €5 in my local so you got it cheaper than me. So €4.50 is normal alright.
