I was told yesterday that Gamestop in waterford are getting an allocation of 8 of these into the shop, and once the pre-books are gone its gone, apparently Infinity ward are taking this whole limited edition thing very seriously indeed

Luckily im number seven of 8 of the prebooks :)

Yeah its lookin that HMV will be the cheapest, And I have had stuff delivered from them before. Their shipping charge to Ireland is £2.50

I have the prestige version preordered with HMV, and as I said above I have received orders from them before so it looks like the best value way to buy at the mo. You're looking at @141 exchange rate dependent!

i had my prestige edition ordered from hmv.co.uk with the 21 pound shipping option since this is the one they recommend on the site and i picked this because when the gta IV collectors edition came out it couldnt be shipped without it because of size and weight also if you have the 2.50 shipping you wont get it till for about 7-10 days after release day like the gta IV orders. so i cancelled my hmv.co.uk order since i managed to get 2 pre orders for the prestige edition in 2 different gamestops in cork and i can just go collect it on release day.

Asked about it in Gamestop Henry St. today...

    €159.99 Retail

€20 Deposit on "Extremely limited Stock"

So if you can get the game for €45-50... paying €110 for NV goggles, which will be a complete novelty, which will wear off after 5mins, unless you live across from a Girls domatory and have a good view of the showers!

Pre-Ordered my copy for the PS3 in Gamestop Blanchardstown last night :D , I'm going to trade in a few games against it to bring the cost down.

Edit : just back from gamestop after trading in bioshock and streetfighter on the PS3 and thats another €60 off it.

They're good to you in that Gamestop... In my local gamestop i'd have to trade in at least 4 new releases to get €60 off... But I want!!! I want!!! Gimme!!!

Gamestop are doing a deal where ya get like €30 extra on trade in stuff if you pre-order, was tempted due to high quantit of nice pre-orders coming up but there are 2 games on the 360 list I own (Fallout 3 and Red Faction) so meh, want to keep them.

+1 to the above , they have a list of games that will give you €30 credit that you can put towards your pre order .

Have a few ds games that I'm going to use clear the rest off the game and order another copy of the normal version.

By all accounts you might as well have bought a €5 pair of binoculars as they would have done the same, if not a better job... and saved you're cash for the bail money you will most likely need

I reckon the hardened edition will be about €65/70. Stell boxed games usually cost about that.

i think this thing retails at around €190, and a pair of night vision goggles for that price are going to be sh*t.
