Two Pints of water and a couple of painkillers before you go asleep,
Then a Pint of water next to your bed for when you wake up in the morning.

    It's the ultimate hangover proofing.

    Cant beat it.

    * A morning Bj also helps..

Sticking to 1 drink helps big time the rare occasion i do! an isotonic drink like lucozade sport or gatorade before bed will help big time getting your electrolytes back in balance before you wake up! If not a litre of water,a multivitamin & 2 neurofen have spared me from the complete horrors the next morning! If all else fails hair of the dog is the way to go!

+1 Sticking to one drink means virtually no hangover. I can drink Bottles of Heineken all night long and be dehydrated and tired but no hangover. Lots of water the next day all day long. 2 neurofen for any pains. Multivitamin for replacement of Vit C. Sea air is also good.

I have been getting monster hangovers recently even when I've been making an effort not to drink so much, it must be some sort of science with my aging body.

Anyway I found taking a sachet of dioralyte before going to bed works wonders for me. Anytime I've taken I have felt almost fine the next morning, so I can get up, go downstairs, not wash my hands, cos I'm a bloody bloke...(partridge anyone??)

Panadol and plenty of water before sleep and during the day after.

Drinking only vodka seems to leave me with no hangover, though YMMV.

If it's a Monday and you wake up to a cup of coffee, dont. It will futher dehydrate your body. Also be wary of drinking fruit juices as your stomach is probably over-acidic as it is.
I find a lucozade sport at night and a bottle of sparkling (and therefore alkaline) water in the morning does the job.

2 Actimel followed by a breakfast roll and an ice cold can of coke always does the trick for me... For the really bad ones a big mac meal and a strawberry milkshake....

A hand shandy and a nap straight after it. Right as rain after that.

I'd go with the plenty of water and some pankillers before bed. I get some monster hangovers, does anyone else get mad heart plapitations the morning after drinking spirits?

Milk and plenty of it...works for me every time. Water is kind of hit and miss, doesn't always work

Ah noway, its far too heavy on the stomach after a night out, vomtastic!

Its dehydration that causes a hangover so you need to rebalance salt, sugar & water levels(electrolytes)! Lucozade, gatorade, powerade & Dioralyte(etc) are all isotonic & are what theyre designed for! Better for rehydration then water!
You can make home made versions. I use dextrose powder (5 tea spoon fulls) orange dilute,750mls of water & a big pinch of salt.Cheap & cheerful!
Get this into you before bed, with neurofen & a vitamin tablet you'll be far better in the morning!
Bottle of red lucozade in the freezer for the morning another vitamin tablet & milk thistle then whatever crap you can stomach,be it a fry, mcd's or whatever!
    Wait a bit,have a scuttery ****e! Hangover is gone!
Toilet paper cooled in the fridge is also a godsend! :pac:

I dunno what people do be on about with greasy food

If you can stomach greasy food/mcdonalds etc after a night of heavy drinking your obviously not hungover

    Can barely handle water

Burnt toast. Charcoal absorbs alcohol. It works for me ;)

Hangovers are primarily caused by dehydration (lack of water) caused from drinking alcohol. Ya want no hang over? down about 3-5 pints of water the night before (sure you'll piss like a water fall) but it'll mainly replace the lost electrolites and water.

Any other "cures" are just full of crap including the "hair of the dog". This works for those who are still drunk the day afer and just delays the hangover by continuing the drunk phase
