Sounds good. I aim to be back for about lunch time so a quick enough out and back would be nice.

Reckon I should be in. My back and knees are wrecked, but I've decided to target the Sean Kelly so I have to HTFU and get out there.

possibly in. not been out on the road bike since the W200, what with holidays and stuff. It might need a bit of work first!

Riding your bike is the best way to get rid of a hangover.

Naw, recent research has shown that lying in bed in a darkened room with a bidon of water and a bucket of paracetamol within easy reach is much more effective, especially if followed by a breakfast roll approximately 12 hours after going to bed in the first place.

impressive female:male ratio going on here so far.....i'm interested to see where we'll end up if we're left in charge of the directions? :D

We probably won't get lost so much because you won't be as reluctant to a.) admit we are actually lost and b.) ask directions from a local.

    nice. my kinda cycling :D
I'd say johnny foxes does a mean appletini

Would I be right in saying something like stepaside-glencullen-pine forest road-sally gap-bohernabreena kind of thing. Decent pace so we're home in time for lunch and an afternoon of watching the tour while drinking euro-approved bottled beers??

gluttons for punishment can keep going to laragh.......

That works for me, or even the other way around - that's actually harder :P

I'm in, but might not stick around for the whole day as I need to do a bit of DIY in the afternoon.

There's nothing to stop you turning off to ride the Wicklow Gap on your own.

I'm in. I have to fit my new chain and cassette, but I'm heading out on the beer, so if I don't get it done it's another day of grinding away in an awful gear.

Unless Tonto wants to cycle over, I'll make you a cup of tea before I leave. You can let yourself out :)

    Sorry, working this evening.

Ordinarily I'd do it for you in the morning, but I've a few errands to run tomorrow before the spin.

Ah I was kidding don't worry, I need the practice anyway, haven't changed a cassette yet (don't worry, have all the tools).

I'm also looking forward to tackling the hills with my limited gearing again :)

I'm in. Am on for Laragh/Wicklow Gap, but ideally would like to make it home for 2pm or thereabouts so maybe I'm kidding myself.
