    It was 4 max for Faith No More so I reckon you're right - it'll probably be 4.

    Going to grab me as many as I can like some manner of ticket buying Hungry Hungry Hippo.

    Ticketmaster ripped an older press release of their gig in Edinburgh a few years ago:
    Scottish rockers Idlewild and highly celebrated stalwarts of the Scottish music scene Teenage Fanclub, will be supporting The Pixies at Meadow Bank Stadium.

    Support probably won't be announced until sometime after the summer.

    Only just heard about this now, sort of by accident! Will be hard to get ticket though ugh i really want to go! might try get ones for thursday cos id say they'd be slightly less popular?

    No doubt it'll be a rubbish Irish band supporting - some MCD favourite. With any luck the band will bring someone decent along with them.

    And if I see Glen Ponsard in a box at the gig I will be more annoyed.

    Remember when Sonic Youth played the Olympia in 1998 and Chicks supported? They got so much abuse they left the stage early. Felt bad for them but really - what the hell were they doing supporting Sonic Youth?

    Got 4 standing tickets for Thursday. Id say most went for Friday and thats why it was so easy to get the Thursday ones. Looks like they are both all gone now anyway. I love it when a plan comes together.

    Easy peasy. Got two for the Friday.

    I always find it disconcerting when you get tickets straight away on Ticketmaster for a popular gig. Always think I'm doing something wrong! :D

    Tried to get 4 standing for Friday at bang on 9, already gone when it came through at just gone 1 minute past. Managed to get two seated for the Thursday.

    I had the same experience, didn't know about pre-sales or anything, so was just stuck trying on the website. Weren't onsale at 8:59 and by the time the stupid captcha had gone through it was 9:00 and they were all gone for both days. Kinda pointless even putting them up on the site really! Anyway, needless to say would be ridiculously happy to get 1 or 2 for either night if anyone feels they have any extras going........

    And yeah, cue the MCD bashing now! Anyone got any inside info as to how many actually went on sale at the pre-advertised time of 9am Friday??

    I wouldn't count on another date. Their Saturday is off but I'm sure they'd like to keep it that way.

    I had five people in work trying to get tickets for me and we have a very fast internet connection in work.Four of us kept trying for the Friday and couldn't get one. Another lad in work was trying to get tickets for himself but went for the Thursday instead and got two.Big mistake going for the Friday.:(
