Taking creatine and fat loss tablets, is it wise?

    Im trying to loose weight but at same time keep up my strength

    is it wise to use both at same time?

    Chances are that the creatine will actually do something useful, and the fat loss tablets won't. What's in them?

    No need for the pedantic reply. Its clearly a simple typo we've all done it.

    I thought a lot of fat loss tablets had caffeine in them, isn't caffeine a diuretic?

    Wouldn't that work against the creatine?

    I'm no expert but I'd certainly take a hard look at what was in the fat loss tablets

    Generally only in large amounts. However, creatine and caffeine at the same time are not the best combination. But caffeine before a workout and creatine after would be fine.

    I'd worry more about the diet and the workouts you are doing tbh.:)

    The creatine should effectively allow you a few more muscle actions per workout alright, but whats your calorie count at. If your glycogen levels are way low i imagine it would be moot, as the mucles won't be getting into the workzone where additional ATP would be helping anyway.

    Also, if you just started taking creatine you are going to load some water, so remember that when weighing yourself, if that how you are keeping track of what you are doing.

    Why?.

    .

    Maybe something to do with the fact that the creatine basically works by flooding the muscles with water, to aid recovery etc, and caffeine acts as a mild diruetic, drawing water out of the cells, so basically, they are cancelling each other out, or near enough anyway....just a guess though
