You'd prob be better off with this course.

Yea I've seen it; don't really want to go to Limerick though and I'm not certain that it's exactly what I want to do - just wondering if it would be an option if I did mechanical in Trinity.

About 30 hours lectures/tutorials + your own study.

you missed practicals, phy and chem labs and the work you need to do after for the reports thats maybe under 10 hour extra so often

th cival labs are ok get to play with stuff
the mech one involve work and hearing loss.
    and elec are a pain

engineering is a bit of work, but its totally worth it. you learn a lot. At the start of the year i was working part time, going to college and doing rowing with the college which is a full time sport itself. had to quit the job in the end. what im saying is, its a lot of hours but u can still do other stuff.

I've just done my leaving and hoping to get engineering in Trinity. Would you say that the points required might go up or stay more or less the same like in the last few years?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,488 ✭✭✭mathew

Its impossible to say. They went up a bit (by 5 or so) the last few years. If you have youself about 490 ish you should be in no problem..

Nothing that can be done now anyway so theres little point worrying. Just gotta sit it out and wait till the offers in a month

    Who's the chick?

She's from Firefly, Kaylee. It's epic sci-fi. Baza is pretending they're real people.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,699 ✭✭✭Brian

Actually I used the photo because it was a Kaylee quote from when Inara first comes down the steps from her shuttle. Besides, Jewel Staite is quite real.
