Wow how annoying. Another R4 going beyond restoration for no good reason.

Any idea where it is going? It looks like it has a few good parts on it.

What a waste. Do you mean buried literally? That sounds bizarre

What kind of condition was it in, because it is in atrocious condition there, surely that can't happen in 5 years?

These two are just outside Limerick city and are available for sale. owner deceased. early 60's mk2 jaguar rolling shell in reasonable condition. No eng/box/plates/tax book. Spoke to the owners nephew. E 500 for the jag.

Might be interested in the Jag depending on the condition of the shell and how complete it is.

When i looked at it it could be 6-7yrs ago.

Both back wings were rusty(ones now hanging off)
where the floor meets the a pillar there was a rust hole and the paint was faded...

    restorable at the time...

Not very complete, there's no engine there anyway. I introduced a fella to him on Sunday who was interested in it, but I don't know what came of it. I can pm you a number if you like?

Yep,there was a reasonable 2 door Opel Rekord estate buried just down the road from me last year, was irish and all.

Five years out in the irish weather idle would make a mess of most cars.

When i was about 5 i remember my uncle was moving out of his house my dad buried out in the field a manta a, a couple of beetles,a fiat 127 +/131/+128 and loads more the field was nearly full what a shame,,,
But at the time they were worth nothing like todays 90s fiestas/astra/puntos etc

What's with the burying? It sounds so bizarre. Don't people know the difference between cars and people?

It's actually hilarious, in a way...

The Pagoda was discovered while dredging the river Neckar somewhere in Germany. It was donated to some Merc club or other. This pic taken at the show in Essen.
