Woman in Belgium supposing asks for three stars on her face claims she fell asleep and woke up with 56. Everything seemed ok until her old man and BF went ballistic at the sight of her, she is now trying to sue the tattoo artist for 10k.

Look closely and you will notice that nearly all the stars are of the 5 sided inverted pentagrams (Eastern Star) which is often associated with a goats head in satanism, bet she didn't spot this in the book when she chose the design.

I looked closely and all I saw was a lot of stars on the face of possibly the stupidest teenager in Europe.

The tattoo artist is one ugly boyo:

Looks like a Photoshop job. Still, I'm confused what this has to do with Christianity.

Tattoos are a controversial Christian topic.

Really? Even if that was the case, what does this particular story have to do with Christianity?

When I saw the picture, my first response was "Jesus Christ!".

This story blows. "Fell asleep" during tattoos?

Not one word of it rings true.

My guess is her Dad hit the roof so she tried to pin the blame on the tattoo artist - who looks like he's had a few other things pinned on his face anyway.

    Tattoos = bad
    Drink = bad

    Drink + Tattoos = hilarity

If she fell asleep while getting her face tattooed, I'm guessing there was more than drink in her system.

The guy beside her with the QuickSilver T shirt looks really PO'd. What probably made him worse was the fact that the culpable tattooist already looked like what he wanted to do to him.

I'm curious if this guy is unemployed and wonders why?

    Only at a certain angle.

Um, no, that's the tattoo artist. One of the few lines of work where looking like that is not only a benefit, but a requirement.

Really?? :) He's a walking billboard for his business. It hurts looking at him.

When her face is in the normal up right position. :p

The first thing that struck me was the stars used in that infamous EU poster.

More than likely she chose these stars from a book, usually selected singly rather than in batches. My ex has three on her foot. :D

That's just mean! The girl asked for 3 little stars on her face and because of what appears to be a problem in translation ended up with way more than she bargained for. She must be somewhat traumatised as I imagine I would be myself.

Frankly, PDN, I'm a bit shocked that your response to this young woman and her situation is to condemn her as "possibly the stupidest teenager in Europe". You have a reputation around here for your sharp wit and not suffering fools gladly but this is a bit much to be honest.

Anybody who's ever had a tattoo done will tell you that her story is nonsense and there's no way it's true.

I've had a few done myself actually. What makes you think there's no way it could be true?

    Read the story.
Can you guess by checking out the thumb what the problem is with this tattoo? According to the person who’s face it is splashed across aka Kimberley Vlaeminck, there are about 30 stars too many on her face. She says she asked for three next to her eye but she got a whole bunch. Her excuse was that she only spoke Dutch and little English while the tattoo artist in kortrijk, Belgium only spoke French. Yup, that is really going to explain the 30 or so extra stars.

Her second offering was that she must have dozed off during the session as she had gone to work at 5AM and that is why she could not stop him. Yup, someone poking you with a needle in your face for 30 extra stars is really going to knock you out cold. The tattoo artist says Kimberley was as happy as a slut at a gangbang until her father showed up.

None of that rings any alarm bells?

I read the story on a news site, I tend not to trust articles that start with "LMFAO" as much as I trust newspapers. That is beside the point though, I'll ask my question again: what makes you think there's no way it could be true?

I made up my mind from a different report than that one, it just summed up my opinion quite succinctly.

Aside from the generally unfeasible whole of her story - either of the two drafts she cooked up - I have particular difficulty imagining anybody "sleeping through" that much work being done on their face of all places...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,784 ✭✭✭Puck

That really depends on how deep she slept and how much pain she can tolerate. I imagine if I was really exhausted I could have slept through some of the tattoos I've had done. A friend of mine from college slept through third-degree burning from a radiator, which I'd imagine is far more painful than a tattoo.

60% Belgians speak Flemish as their first language and 40% speak French. It's quite a controversial subject in a country that, to quote Colin Farrell from 'In Bruges', "is only famous for paedophiles and chocolate ..... and they only make the chocolate to attract the kiddies."

I am quite amazed that we are becoming so politically correct that we can't have a bit of a laugh at a piece of stunning stupidity. A teenage girl goes to a tattoo artist who looks like something from Dante's Inferno, asks him to tattoo stars on her face, claims to have fallen asleep while her face is being tattooed, and then wants to sue the guy. Duh!

No one accidental gets their face covered in tattoos. Unless she was heavily drunk (always a possibility I suppose) she would not have slept through her nose being tattooed. That is like saying I feel alseep while someone was hitting me on the head with a hammer.

Like most of the other posters I imagine this was an excuse she made up when her parents hit the roof.

What this has to do with the occult I'm not sure. Some times a star is just a star
