Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Barney freaked the Sh1t outta me when I was a young fella! All those stories about him assaulting people and stuff really got to me!

Di-di from Dexters Lab also scared me, She reminded me of a Crystal Meth addict from Dublin City centre!

    Quite a Harrowing Childhood!

    +1
It took me years before I could watch that film all the way through. The Whirlygig Witch off Wanderly Wagon was another who scared the sh1te out of me. And there was some crap movie that was on once centuries ago called Winter of the Witch that frightened me for years after. And the faceless nun off that Armchair Thriller thing, Quiet as a Nun.

So mostly old women that scared me then...you can tell I went to the nuns at an early age.

The Incredible Hulk freaked me out big time. The show was on the air when I was about six or seven and it not only scared the bejesus out of me but out of half my class in school as well. I watched an episode of it a few years ago and thought it was harmless stuff.

 Oh My God! What the hell is that? I'm freaked out right now.

Jaws from James Bond used to scare me a lot. I once didn't walk down a road on one of my childhood walkabouts because I saw a painter that resembled him slighly. Pobably just as well though...

    james_bond_jaws.jpg

I also had an irrational fear of 3 wheeled cleaning vehicles. I used to dive behind the couch whenever I heard one outside.

Sounds ridiculous, but Miss Hannigan from Annie sent me flying out of the room...

Also I was terrified of Free Willy...I dont know why

I hadn't seen the film Oliver till I was about 15 because I was terrified of Fagan!

Return to Oz really was the most traumatising (kids?) film of all time, the Wheelers still terrify me! And the queen that changed her head in the room full of heads?! WTF?

Ming the merciless from the ancient Flash Gordon series which was shown on Sat mornings. He was a right ba*tard. Mind you the spacecraft weren't the best.:P

Fecking Bosco, I swear. Always thought he/she was just too over friendly in a creepy way. Whats behind the magic door? Find out for yourself and leave me alone.

The trap door, the theme tune made me uncomfortable. And of course wurzel was terrifying. Didn't really appreciate the thunder noise at the start of count duckula or whatever he was called!
