    I suppose that's true. And i hear this is one of boards.ie's fastest growing forums, so it's reasonable to assume that the next database assault would come sooner.

    Anyway, it's not server space, it's just that when individual threads get too big they put a lot of pressure on the server and slow things down, and there is some risk at least that the thread might glitch completely and be wholly or partially lost (as I understand it).

    Better to move in time, rather than have the roof cave in completely some day, and the original Lair be lost for ever.
