Will God face prosecution and a possible jail term for turning his back on the Children of the Ryan report on institutional abuse as they suffered rape, torture and every other imaginable inhumane, sick practice day after night after day?

I know he was busy with moving statues, appearances to sunstroked kids in Fatima, selling plastic statues in Lourdes, snacking on smoked salmon in the Vatican, the stations of the Donkey, and being a daft pious figure of authority etc.

    - But come on, out of all the Gods - What a pathetic, useless, smalltime, lazy, w@nky little Prick we happened to get.... I bet Allah is less supportive of posturing evil Clergy, torture and child sexual abuse......

Allah is the same God as the one referred to in the Bible.

How do you prosecute the imaginary ?

Religion is just a tool to enslave the gullible and explain the unexplainable.

If there's a God he's turned his back on the Catholic Church long ago, don't worry about that.

I bet you wouldn't feel that way if you were an eight year old Saudi girl who was about to be forced to marry a man in his 50s.

    No.

But the Pope should, he tried to cover it up. He should also face prosecution for being a member of Hitler Youth.

But you won't see it happen.

Did this Pope try to cover it up? I can't remember.

Also - nobody has ever been prosecuted for being a member for Hitler Youth. AFAIK they didn't murder anyone.

i wonder if god himself was abused and if the priest said he had god's permission to do it and then i wonder did god blame himself.

if this did occur and if you are reading this, god.. well then i must agree with you.. it was your own fault.

    Yes he did. Source

The Pope played a leading role in a systematic cover-up of child sex abuse by Roman Catholic priests, according to a shocking documentary to be screened by the BBC tonight.
In 2001, while he was a cardinal, he issued a secret Vatican edict to Catholic bishops all over the world, instructing them to put the Church's interests ahead of child safety.
The document recommended that rather than reporting sexual abuse to the relevant legal authorities, bishops should encourage the victim, witnesses and perpetrator not to talk about it. And, to keep victims quiet, it threatened that if they repeat the allegations they would be excommunicated.
The Panorama special, Sex Crimes And The Vatican, investigates the details of this little-known document for the first time. The programme also accuses the Catholic Church of knowingly harbouring paedophile clergymen. It reveals that priests accused of child abuse are generally not struck off or arrested but simply moved to another parish, often to reoffend. It gives examples of hush funds being used to silence the victims.

By 1943, Nazi leaders began turning the Hitler Youth into a military reserve to draw manpower which had been depleted due to tremendous military losses. In 1943, the 12.SS-Panzer-Division Hitlerjugend, under the command of SS-Brigadeführer Fritz Witt, was formed. The Division was a fully equipped Waffen-SS panzer division, with the majority of the enlisted cadre being drawn from Hitler Youth boys between the ages of sixteen and eighteen. The division was deployed during the Battle of Normandy against the British and Canadian forces to the north of Caen. During the following months, the division earned itself a reputation for ferocity and fanaticism. When Witt was killed by allied naval gunfire, SS-Brigadeführer Kurt Meyer took over command and became the youngest divisional commander at age 33.

You got to be kidding me.... I personally believe that God will punish these people in the hereafter as the Christian narrative suggests.

That only works if you believe that God (wasn't it not the Virgin Mary, hence Our Lady of Fatima?) or the Virgin Mary actually made an apperance of Fatima. Or indeed if you believe that everything that the Vatican has done has been legitimately God's will.

Yawn. God isn't supportive of any of those things at all. You are confusing the view of:

    1) The Biblical text, the revealed Scriptures of God.

    with:
    2) What the Roman Catholic Church, a flawed institution has done.

    A great quote from a great man;

"With all the horrible, horrible sh!t that your priest is pumping into your kid's head, his dick should be the least of your worries, honestly. That's just a little mouthwash and a few years of therapy'll get rid of that. That Jesus sh!t will torture you for a lifetime."

Could god create legislation that even he could not be bound by?

Yes, but the Bible got loads of it wrong, so no. The character of Allah is very different to the character of Jehovah.

    They're both awful of course.

Exactly. He ruined everything. I miss the old kickass God. He got shìt done; genocide, incest, talking animals. Then he became a father and had to "learn to be more responsible". Actually, I blame Mary. She's got him all hen-pecked!
