Me too. My head looks like a deflated hot water bottle. Still though. Totally worth it.
If only to discover that bulmer's pear is a girls drink for girls.

 I was told the exact same thing, and from a Swedish girl working for Sword Security, that in Sweden, Kopparberg is strictly a wimmins drink there.

Was worth it though, great day/night

my mam, sister and uncle all have skin cancer, they are all fine except they have bits of skin chopped off here and there, looks horrible, I and my daughters have to go once a year to the skin cancer doc in St James' hos to get checked, I don't want to be a moany minny but hear are 2 interesting facts

    1. skin cancer can stay in you for years before it comes out.

2.if you have sun cream in your press/fridge from last year, the first 1/4 inch is now moisturising cream DO NOT shake the bottle instead squeeze out and dispose of the first lot.

I don't want to moan at yous on a lovely day but please be sun safe and cover all moles.

it's also the most cureable cancer if caught on time

Well think about it. Fruit based drink. Sugary as crap. It's just another smirnoff ice really isn't it?

I did. Does anyone know how to apply cream to your back ? I was at home alone and couldnt reach the middle of my back - thats the only bit that got burned.

    Any ideas ?

Get spray on sun cream. Or put some on a rag on a stick and get that back covered up goodo.

I could never see the appeal of lying down in the sun all day. I'd rather lie down on my bed.

For a nation of such fair skinned folks, we really are quite ignorant
of the dangers from over exposure and lack of protection.

When will we simply accept it that as Irish, we aren't able
for the sun. We are fair skinned, not dark or black
    or tanned.

We burn easier and quicker and are
at such a high risk from a deadly and painful
disease. It only takes a minute or two
to apply cream, yet the amount of people
who don't and end up burnt is staggering!

Okay, you get a bit of a colour, but within a few bloody days, you
are back to your pasty pale and white complexion. Is that or those
few days saturating the sun without protection really
    worth it?

Hey, enjoy the bit of sun, but take precautions, always!

Maybe the dosage, strength and frequency was off. You must keep
reapplying and after being in the water, it's a good idea to
reapply. I would recommend a complete cover of factor 50
    and to reapply when needed.

It was the light breeze yesterday that did the damage. Not complaining, sure brought out the crowds yesterday and everyone was in great form.

    Goddamn the fact I'm fair-skinned.

Walked the dog out at Lissadell for about 20 minutes.. arm is a bit burned, and bet my neck is.

    C'est la vie!

It's easy.. you obviously try and use the palm of your hand. But actually use the back of your hand.

I always wear sun cream in the sun as I burn too easily and it is a life saver hopefully....two moles on one arm which I am aware of in that they have the potential to develop into skin cancer.
I like short sleeves but sometimes I feel it would be better to wear long sleeves.
My grandfather died a long time before I was born and it was skin cancer that got him.

People are asking for skin cancer if they take risks in the sun.

Remember a tan is simply damaged skin, it is why a tan always wears off, it means the skin has repaired itself.

I feel sorry for anyone who got burnt, I did loads of times as a child but there is no need to be getting burnt, slap on the cream, keep your top on and wear some head gear, thats what I do but I probably should wear sun glasses too....
