5-a-side team name

I'm playing in a charity 5-a-side in a couple of weeks and need to get a team name sorted out. I thought what better place to get something than the twisted brain-trust that is AH.

It is with work so nothing too crass.

I had a 5 a side team i entered into a league in Tallaght.

Turned up at the pitch at the first match, and the other team still looked like they were waiting for some one else.
After a while a guy comes over and says "are you's Sexual Chocolate" to which i repiled "yeah" he started to laugh and said "sorry, we expected ye to be black".

True story. Awsome name.

'Werder Braymen'

Also one's my friends were talking about starting: 'Special Olypiakos' and 'PS Gee'. Just thought about one there now: 'The Lee Sharpes' (Simpsons; Homer, Apu, Skinner and Barney's band).

I remember a mate who had a five-a-side team called "Paddy's with a Tan" cos one of the players was English. Brilliant! Can't use it though for 2 reasons - no English player on the team and what I believe HR call a "Racist Slur" :rolleyes:

+1 for Sporting Lesbian.

Although the thing about 5-a-side tournaments is that if you look at the league tables, the better, funnier or zanier the team name is, the lower in the league they usually are.
