Also I don't have any friends on Boards so if I went for a drink with them it'd be creepy.

But that's the whole point of meeting somebody ,so you get to know them a little bit better, or not at all but you wont know that till ya meet them .

Not like you need an excuse anyway and besides, haven't you heard of blind dates ?

I'm sure, at 18 everything is sad... But you don't have to meet anyone here for a blind date anyway. I've gotten to know some pretty sound people on here. I talk to quite a few people here on msn too, and know enough about each others real lives that I'd consider them friends. Tbh, there are some boardsies that spend a fair bit of time on boards, so sitting there having a waffle and a drink on the same wave-length as you is pretty cool.

Btw, there are people on this site your own age. But age doesn't really matter here anyway.

went to a few boards beers and there was plenty around your age my friend. i'm only a few years older than you too

Also, i met my girlfriend through boards, good things can come of boards beers
