    Haven't heard of several of the people mentioned on this thread.

    Others from my county (not known internationally, apart from one in Manchester): Denis Irwin, George Hook, Matt Cooper, Eddie Hobbs, Ronan O'Gara, The Frank and Walters.

    christy moore and luka bloom are from the town i grew up in, ruby walsh is from down the road. brenda donoghue of gerry ryan show fame is also from my town, one of the girls from bewitched, theres prob more.

    1st part of my life was in tallaght, robbie keane is all i know from there.
