God I doubt it... Men aren't so desperate for flange that they'd **** someone to whom they're not attracted.

I wear nice tightish jeans, just tight enough to make out my figure and a nice low cut top,not too slutty. I find that my mates who wear mini skirts etc get felt up by drunk guys and harrassed on the street,I get drink bought for me by nice sober sweet guys.

I'm not single tho and I find that mostly single girls wear mini skirts etc. i want to look nice not attract guys...

Yeah mini skirts are disgraceful, I prefer the Muslim-style black bag and cloak thing.

Well, they're both the rwo sides of the same coin, tbh. Just controlling and defining a woman's sexuality by how she dresses.

Girls who dress 'slutty' usually get the same reactions when they go out- girls being bitchy to them, drunk men leering at them and guys saying ''God, she's such a slapper'' but still chatting them up anyway.

So i was out tonight, and i know for a fact that it's what we wear that attracts the men. For instance, hot girl, skimpy dress-all the men will drool. Hot girl, jeans and nice top-they will think she's taken. Its the same story, day in and day out. There are exceptions though :)
BTW, why do men say "she's gagging for it" when girls are dressed in skimpy clothes

Because they like to divide women into two categories ''easy/slut/ gagging for it'' and ''nice, girlfriend material'' and clothes help them decide this. Because a girl in a miniskirt is clearly just desperate for sex. They would shag both of these kinda girls, but only one would be brought home to mammy...

Duh... like read it again. Obviously it means what it says: one's clothes dictates the level of one's libido - from girls wearing hardly any clothes (horny) all the way to priests dressed in heavy black vestments (not hor... oh wait...)

Meh, differetn strokes for diff folkd. I don't find your general girl on the night out clothes attractive at all.

Each to their own, personally it all depends on what pub/club/party. Group of people i would be hanging out with and what i want from the night -:)

As a man I can't see why other men judge a woman on what she's wearing on a night out. Her choice of clothes may not necessarily reflect any intentions. Just because she is skimpily dressed does not mean she must be single and desperate for someone. A lady can wear a skirt/heels, look fantastic and be simply out to enjoy herself.

Her choice of clothes is not an invitation for some guy to start chatting her up. What happened to body language? Have we forgotten how to read peoples actions? Judge someone on what they do, not what they wear.

No, they're not. I suppose though, you just might have incredibly low standards when it comes to judging how attractive girls are.

and i suppose you have met all the female boards users then yeah?

Ha, you actually think girls on boards.ie are that good looking?

I don't see how posting on an internet forum makes a girl either good or bad-looking. But then, of course, if a girl can talk/debate with men she must be a minger...after all, no pretty girl is intelligent too...

I get pretty pissed off when my GF goes out in her heels and skirt and i always slag her about her whore heels but she says they just make her feel a lot more confident when shes out with the girls.

I know though when i go out with the lads the girls who wear the short skirts and whore heels are the ones who get the attention but they are just asking to be perved on, i really think its pretty tacky and they look like slags but thats what the youth of today is turning into, slags..

I say this on the experience of "Donnybrook Wesley Disco" Enough said, every year the kids just get sluttier and sluttier, i worry about the next generation!

    LOL

    PML. Good point though.

I suppose us men do think if she dresses in provocative clothes she must be a blonde bimbo, whereas if the she dresses conservatively she must be intelligent.

Generalisations and stereotypes are great fun but no harm pointing out how stupid they are.

whats this bout heels being slutty - depends what else the lady is wearing i wear heels with all sorts mainly with jeans and a nice top doesnt make me look/feel slutty....good god...it makes the casual outfit dressy...

a woman should be able to be naked and not be peeved on while i dont like the mini skirt low cut top outfits on women they are fully entitled without judgement or critique on their easiness or whatever

Showing less is more, i love nothing more than than heels by the way dont get me wrong, but its these heel emphasizing the mini belt of a skirt they wear, like flats and a mini skirt is cute, 5inch heels and a miniskirt is slaggy.

    Heels and tight jeans.. Mmmm
