My religion made me do that once.

Luckily I've turned my back on the Church of FemaleCeannKickius these days.

Well the drug dealers will be happy. Sales of E's should increase quite a bit I would imagine.

Horrible horrible stuff, well done Harney - Have a ham sandwich. Or two....
True that, scumbag dealers will have more business because of it, then again i believe if you are foolish enough to take it, then f*ck ya you know the risks before ya pop it.

P.S. about that ham sandwich, you meant to leave out the sandwich part, and replace ham, with whole pig didnt you? :pac:

Ban those BZP pills all you want. Of all the people I know who have taken them and had a bad time, it must be something close to about 95%.

I still hate the fat mess for banning mushrooms though. Just cause some knob with a litre of vodka in him jumped out a window. Cause people don't normally do things like that with a litre of vodka in them...of course not, it was blatantly the mushrooms fault.

Plus the ratio of people I know who've had a good time on them is pretty much 100%. Pft. They're even banned in Amsterdam now :(

Couldn't be happier that this sh1te is off the market tbh. And as for head shops carding everyone - eh... NO. My son is well under 18 and was able to stroll in and buy whatever he wanted. I went into the two shops I heard he'd bought stuff in and told them I wasn't happy, and they vehemently denied selling to kids under 18, maintaining that they were very strict on carding.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for grown adults choosing to do whatever they want, but it really pissed me off... it's bad enough that there's the illiegal stuff to worry about without them being able to buy it over the counter like sweets.

I partly blame the headshops. they sell these things knowing it will eventually be banned. Some people have this whole head shops vs the government idea, forgetting that both groups are self-serving businesses at the end of it.

Nobody had a problem when you could go and pick them or grow them legally, there never was a drug market for them either. It's only when they came up for sale that there was a problem, it brings a whole host of problems such as regulation etc.

If you have to learn to pick the right ones* you're forced to do research before taking them, or at least talk to someone who knows how to pick them, who will advise you on a safe environment to take them in. But alas you can't do that now without risking class A possession/intent to supply..

The most positive experiences of my life were from taking mushrooms with good friends, and it helped to make me the happy person I am today.

I certainly won't miss these. Took em twice on nights out and both experiences were as horrid as each other. The not sleeping for two days was bad enough but the loss of 3 grams of gums was too much to bear.

Ditto man. It lets you look at lifes problems from a perspective that you normally never would. While laughing your ass off at the same time :D

Picking is really just a bit of a pain but I guess I could always try grow my own again unless they've made the spores illegal now too which wouldn't surprise me.

There's been bzp free legal pills for a while now.

DMAA is probably the new replacement, although it's been rumoured that some new pills contain mdma anologues (which people won't know because the ingredients aren't listed).

The problem with legal highs is they're not regulated. Th stuff you're getting could be nastier than bzp, but you wouldn't know untill afterwards.

tbh, i don't see much of an advantage to legal highs. At least the illegal ones have been used by millions for many years so you have some sort of idea of the long term effects.

There are actually quite a few MDMA-type substances, MDAA & MDA etc. Some of them replicate the effects quite well, others not so well. This is why its difficult to ban them.

There's also natural, probably safer stuff like Morning Glory legally available

Shrooms are hands down the best drug out there. I know people that avoid them because they've had a bad trip on acid but their not the same buzz at all IMO. I love the way you can be tripping for hours and when it's over it's over. Your just left feeling like you've done something amassing but no sickness or hangover. It's just over.

    Yeah, it's a shame that they're illegal.

It's also fcuking ridiculous since there's 100's of them growing in my garden, naturally.

There needs to be alot more research done into the dangers of using them. afaik, they're completely non-toxic...

Miss them so much. It's a crying shame.

If drugs were legalised and you could buy them in the shop nobody would buy them
because they would be the same as sweets

Please, a warning, Morning Glory misuse is very very unforgiving. Nasty stuff. I would not advise anyone without a background in botany to go anywhere near a group of plants with powerful Alkaloids with a view to ingesting them. You'll end up very ill or dead. People often mistake Jimson Weed (Datura Stramonium and similar) for Morning Glory, they are not the same.

It is worth saying.. ignorance isn't something to boast about. Nothing very Jim Morrison about pissing blood. It might look cool, momentarily..

There's a big difference with being casual about cannabis and magic mushroom use, then using the word 'safe' in a sentence mentioning a family of plants that includes henbane and mandrake.. good luck with that.

I spent a fine summers morning throwing my guts up from LSA (Morning glory) convinced I was going to die, only a wee lad of 17 too, damn drug peddling headshop deviants.

Morning Glory seeds, by all accounts, would seem to be fairly toxic. They also give a completely different high to MDMA analogues. I'm at a loss as to why you would even mention them, let alone claim they're "probably safer".

If a chap drank a bottle of spirits real fast they could die. Sometimes they do. Mary Harney has no right to stop them by making the booze illegal.

People should take responsibility for raising their children. If you raise one stupid and it kills itself that's bad but it's no reason for the State to deprive all people of their Liberty.
