Favourite spot for lunch in UCD? :P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,928 ✭✭✭✭rainbow kirby

Where do you see yourself in a year's time? In 5 years?

    Do you burn or tan?

    Can you swim?

Where would your ideal holiday be?

    1. Believe it or not I like to have my lunch by the lake. I like to tease the birds looking for food.:p:pac:

    1. In a years time? Either doing a crappy Masters in Information Studies or working in a dead end job. In five years, it's hard to say. I'd like to think that I'd be content in life! That would be enough for me.

    2. Burn.:(

    3. Ha, well, the last time I went on holidays with my parents I had just about learned how to swim. I wouldn't be too confident of jumping in the water because I haven't practiced since!

    4. I've always wanted to go to Budapest. But my ideal holiday would be to go back to Australia. Loved it there.

Ah right! I usually buy my lunch from the SU Shop underneath the Library. I usually get a brown bread sandwich, with my choice varying between ham & cheese, chicken tikka, cajun chicken and BLT. When I bring my lunch in with me it's usually just a ham sandwich and banana.

Last week I would have said online Social Networking, but through Facebook I've gotten in contact with a dear childhood friend I haven't seen in like a decade, so now I do get Social Networking!:D

I can't really think of anything now, I mean I don't like a lot of things that the majority do but I do understand why these things are liked so much.

Ha, well, I've promised myself I won't get drunk at my first beers. And unfortunately, sober me doesn't do boogeying. That doesn't mean drunk LZ has the moves or anything.:p

What was your very first alcoholic drink?

What was your first word as a baby?

When did you have your first kiss?

Do you/did you ever have long hair?

Vampires about to bite you - do you ask them to kill you or to save you? (by save I mean make you a vampire)

Can you see any birds out your window?

    1. The first full drink I had was a can of bulmers, but I had stolen a few sips of my dad's Guiness beforehand.:p

    2. I honestly don't know!

    3. 14, I think!

    4. Nope, never had long hair.

    5. I'd ask to be killed, I don't think I'd be able to stand watching those around me die while I stayed the same.

    6. I see no birds.:(

    What's your favourite childhood memory?

If you wrote a novel what would it be about?

What did you have for breakfast?

    What's your favourite film?

What would be your dream job?

    1. I didn't really have an exciting childhood so I had to think about this for a while! It was probably when my little cousin was born and I got to hold her. That was a pretty special feeling.

    2. An epic Vampire yarn. Or about a group of teenage boys growing up. I'd have plenty of material for that one.:D

    3. A Fry.:p

    4. Another one I had to think about! I'd have to say I can't pick a favourite out of Terminator 2/ American History X/ The Dark Knight/ The Crow. It's a 4-way tie!

    5. Film Critic.

Why have the painkillers done nothing?

Are my hash browns ready yet?

You meet the love of your life but if you stay together you'll only live for three more years whereas if you don't you will live a long healthy life but never meet another love. Do you give her up or take the three years together?

Have you ever sat in the Hub in UCD? ;)

Has that swan ever taken a bite from your bag/lunch?

Why is my tummy grumbling so much?

Would you like part of my Wispa Easter Egg? :pac:

    Who is your hero?

Who is your favourite person in the world? :)

Have you ever given change to a homeless person?

4 things you never leave home without?

Something about yourself that you like?

If you can read this, you're too close!

    1. Me not know. I would say take more but that would be irresponsible of me.:p

    2. Why don't you get off the computer and check on 'em?:D

    3. Live the long and healthy life. It would be selfish of me to only think about myself and not the people around me. But that's just me though!

    1. In the Hub.......in the Hub.......can't say that I have. I tend to be either in The Trap or at the lake. Or outside the SU Shop underneath the Library.

    2. Ha ha not yet!:D But the birds have on more than one occasion threatened to attack me.

    3. Go and eat some food! Your tummy grumbling means it is calling you a bad person for depriving it.:pac:

    4. Nah, I gots to stay away from the easter eggs.:(

    5. My hero, eh.............Fernando Torres.

    6. My Mum.

Would you like to have kids some day?

Do you believe in love at first sight?

What's been your most embarrassing moment?

What's the best/worst chat up line anyone's ever used on you?

    1. It's hard to say. Sometimes you come across kids and they are great, it warms your heart to the idea of one day having kids. But then other times kids can be so cruel and then that makes me cold to the idea of having kids myself. I can't honestly give you a definitive answer.

    2. I don't, perhaps lust at first sight, but not love.

    3. Probably when I was school. I was the reporter for the school soccer teams. One day they won a match and I was in the dressing room. All the players usually scrambled to get to me to make sure they got mentioned but I wanted to talk to the player who was man of the match. This person was unfortunately a manic depressive. When I went over to him he went crazy, accusing me of looking at him while he was changing and just tore into to me. I just wanted a hole to open at my feet so I could fall into it.

    4. Ha, well, I don't usually get chatted up.:(

whats the most difficult thing about college?

Incompetent lecturers who don't think they should be held accountable for their own shortcomings. It's always the students fault.

Ooo i remember you telling that story before actually. :P

Ok, it's the apocalypse so you're going to start a new society on another newly discovered planet with the same atmosphere, etc. as earth and you can choose 7 people to bring with you. Who do you choose and why?

    Tough question! Eh...........

    1. My friend Paul because he's a great bloke plus he's a great footballer so he can contribute to making a football team on this new planet.:p
    2. My friend Alana because she's the coolest person I know and I'd want her around.
    3. My brother James because he's an intelligent bloke and because he's my brother!
    4. My brother Phil because he's my brother and he's a boxing coach so he'll contribute to boxing.:p
    5. My friend Brian because he's the male equivalent of Alana.
    6. My little cousin Saoirse because I don't think I could let her die.
    7. My cousin Patricia, because she's a nurse and all round fantastic person who contribute greatly to society.
God dammit Futurecrook, I feel like **** now over this hypothetical situation! I know too many people that I care about!:(

Spend it with the family and my closest friends. I don't think I could spend my last day on earth away from them even for a minute.
