    1. You've caught me off guard with that one! I think it was honestly because of soccer. Liverpool had lost to Man U 3-0 and I saw a number of posts that rattled me. So I signed up, and duely found out I didn't have access.:pac:

    2. I wouldn't say I've joined in so whole heartedly, I haven't gone to a beers yet!:p Well I'd say it's because there are hostile environments on a lot of different forums on this website. I eventually found this forum, lurked, saw the relaxed and friendly atmosphere so I felt compelled to join in. As for the tournaments I just wanted to see which iconic characters the Nocturnalites held in high esteem. I was shocked to see Dracula dominate.:pac:

    1. L-Z-5-by-5. :)

    2. 21. 22 on the 8th of April.:o

    3. You know I've only ever seen the start of it. It looked quite funny from what I saw though.

    2. Ha, well, if I warm up I can do it. Just about. For only about a second or so.:D

    3. I've just spent the last three minutes trying to do it. No luck.:(

    4. I do indeed. But it depends on the cheese.

    5. Soccer

What are you studying in college?

What do you think of UCD?

Have any of your perceptions on some of the stereotypes there been altered/reinforced?

What are your feelings on employment prospects for when you graduate (let's assume you want to go straight into the workplace)?

With the same assumption what do you plan on doing while still studying to improve your own chances of employment?

Would you like to give your career guidance teacher a good kick up the hole?

    1. I'm kind of weird as I don't have one specific genre that I prefer over others. I like Rock, Rap, R'n'B, Country, Brit Pop and Pop. I'm of the belief that each genre has their moments and it is unreasonable to dismiss a genre just because of an affiliation and loyalty to another genre.

    2. German, badly.:pac:

    1. Social Policy and Information Studies.

    2. I'm not really a fan, but admittedly I only think that because I live quite far away and haven't really been able to embrace the college life. I'm sure for those that live on campus it's blast. The only college experience I have is doing assignments and dealing with red tape.

    3. I was afraid that the place would be dominated by south siders and that I wouldn't fit in, but thankfully that hasn't turned out to be true!

    4. I'm not optimistic. My chosen field is really a field that require further education but I'm not interested in pursuing anything further. So what I'm left with is an okay degree trying to get a job in a crap economy. I'm not confident, the only thing that will stand in favour of me is that I've worked in an office before and did quite well.

    5. Well I've only got two months left so there isn't much more I can do to improve my chances of employment.

    6. I would if I knew who he/she was!:pac: But seriously I am planning on going to the careers office soon.

    1. Creative?:o Ah well I used to do a lot of reading and watching TV when I was younger. So the more I did of both, the more idea I got. My teacher once said to me I was excellent at writing stories, but would ask that I write one without Vampires.:pac:

    2. Desert Island Discs? Ah I just look it up! I'd have What's the Story Morning Glory (Oasis), What's Going On (Marvin Gaye), Appetite For Destruction (G'n'R), American Recordings IV (Johnny Cash), The Marshall Mathers LP (Eminem), The Departed (soundtrack), Pulp Fiction (sound track) and History (Michael Jackson).

Knew it was a tough question, thats why I phrased it the way I did ;)

You have a chioce, either someone you love dies or a village in a far away place (Mayo:pac: Africa etc) gets destoryed with the loss of a thousand souls.

Would you rather a life of meaningless sex with beautiful women or a life time with just one love?

In very hot sunny weather do you walk on the sunny or sheltered side of the street?

    Are you watching the match?

    Do you like toast?

    3. Sheltered, the cheeks can't handle the hot rays of the sun.

1 - Are you a bloke or a girl (seriously: football, boxing, boyzone??!)

2 - What is the difference between a duck?

    3 - What's your earliest memory?

4 - If you could meet one boardsie you haven't yet met, who would it be, why and where would you meet them?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    1. I'm a bloke (and in fairness, I did say I was like 10 when I bought that CD).:p

    2. The difference between a Duck? A duck and what?

    3. Earliest memory. Probably coming back from the hospital after an eye operation. I was like 3.

    4. Nice one for putting me on the spot! I'm going to cop out and just say the DooM. I want to meet the legend that is he.

    1. I don't really read comic books, just Graphic Novels.:o I'd say The Dark Knight Returns. It takes a few readings for you to fully appreciate the story.

    2. I unfortunately do not play anything, but I'd love to play drums.

    3. Yes, she's a credit to her sport, never mind gender. And she ain't half bad either.;)

    4. Don't talk to me about it.:( Trappatoni really needs to get over his beef with Andy Reid, and perhaps even make more of an effort with Stephen Ireland (and I hate Ireland).

    1. In a years time? Either doing a crappy Masters in Information Studies or working in a dead end job. In five years, it's hard to say. I'd like to think that I'd be content in life! That would be enough for me.

    2. Burn.:(

    3. Ha, well, the last time I went on holidays with my parents I had just about learned how to swim. I wouldn't be too confident of jumping in the water because I haven't practiced since!

    4. I've always wanted to go to Budapest. But my ideal holiday would be to go back to Australia. Loved it there.

Ah right! I usually buy my lunch from the SU Shop underneath the Library. I usually get a brown bread sandwich, with my choice varying between ham & cheese, chicken tikka, cajun chicken and BLT. When I bring my lunch in with me it's usually just a ham sandwich and banana.

Last week I would have said online Social Networking, but through Facebook I've gotten in contact with a dear childhood friend I haven't seen in like a decade, so now I do get Social Networking!:D

I can't really think of anything now, I mean I don't like a lot of things that the majority do but I do understand why these things are liked so much.

What was your very first alcoholic drink?

What was your first word as a baby?

When did you have your first kiss?

Do you/did you ever have long hair?

    3. 14, I think!

    4. Nope, never had long hair.

    1. I didn't really have an exciting childhood so I had to think about this for a while! It was probably when my little cousin was born and I got to hold her. That was a pretty special feeling.

    2. An epic Vampire yarn. Or about a group of teenage boys growing up. I'd have plenty of material for that one.:D

    3. A Fry.:p

    4. Another one I had to think about! I'd have to say I can't pick a favourite out of Terminator 2/ American History X/ The Dark Knight/ The Crow. It's a 4-way tie!

    5. Film Critic.
