Don't forget Bryan Adams and Celion Dion.

To be fair, we kind of countered that by producing the one and only Neil Young..

Actually i visited Quebec and the people and the place were lovely, i had a great time there, and would recommended it to anyone. Id put Canada over USA anyday of the week.

Visiting them and living next to them/sharing a country with them are entirely different things.

They are not nice people. Don't know how they duped you into buying that one.

Thinking on it, the awesome people/musicians/acts/artists/actors to come out of Canada totally make up for the eejits:

    Dan Aykroyd (Blues Brothers, anyone?)
    The Band
Barenaked Ladies (don't care if they're not your musical taste, they're brilliant guys)
    John Candy
Jim Carrey (depending on your tastes.. not mine, but lots of people love him)
    Cirque de Soleil
    Leonard Cohen
    Michael J. Fox
    the Group of Seven
The Guess Who (writers of the song American Woman)
    Rachel McAdams
    Loreena McKennitt
    Sarah McLachlan
Deepa Mehta (director of the film Water, which was phenomenal)
    Joni Mitchell (absolute revolutionary singer/songwriter!)
    Alanis Morrisette
    Sandra Oh
Matthew Perry (yes, Chandler is a canuck)
    Rush

    ..we also invented:

    IMAX
    Basketball
    Chocolate Nut bars..
    Computerized Braille
    The bin bag!
    Java (programming language)
Snowblower and snowmobile (no big surprise there tbh)
    TV system
    TV camera
    Telephone
    Trivial Pursuit!
    Wireless radio
    the Zipper

..Yeah. You're welcome. :D! Those are only a few, you can look the rest up yourself, cba.

Oh, and if your dad manages to find where my dad is, please get him to tell my dad he owes me 18 years of child support money.

    Thanks! :D

No, but am I quite offended by your remark. Daniel's music can be enjoyed by people of all ages, race and background.

It is true that all these people can be deaf and retarded.

Couldn't help but notice that list is awful. Apart from Leonard Cohen you could lose the rest, then add in Broken Social Scene, Arcade Fire, Cadence Weapon and Swollen Members. But hey, I don't need convincing, I'm going to VC and it's gonna be awesome. Jobs, a vibrant cultural scene, a sunny disposition and weed. That sentence kicks the sh*t out of life here.

Daniel O Donnell is for lovers.

    Everybody now!

    I wanna dance with you
Twirl you all around the floor
That's what they intended dancing for
I just wanna dance with you.

    I wanna dance with you
Hold you in my arms once more
That's what they invented dancing for
I just wanna dance with you.
