i myself go once monthly to d doc for a check up,my girlfriend however not to keen..i suppose i'll ave to talk my chances......and i'm not the kinda person who will (if i'm not wit anyone) have a one night stand.....
I knew a guy with this mentality years ago and it still doesn't make sense to me. What exactly do you think the monthly check up will achieve? You do know some STDs are for life right? Prevention is better than cure, especially when the cure has not been developed yet.
Course if you are in a long term steady relationship then its different, but how long was your current relationship before you did the deed and did you both get screened beforehand? At least your better than the guy I knew, he was looking for (and sometimes got) one night stands.

On topic, have to admit those lidl ones do look tempting, but I'm not sure. Still I'm married and in 6 months to a year we probably will be trying for a second kid so I can test them out in a few months and report back to everyone :D

So, you admit you lost your virginity to a non-human life form! Was it sore for long?
 How did you come to that conclusion about him?

The best form of contraception is marriage.

Failing that, why not Lidl condoms? What's the variety like? Ala Durex, uber-thin, uber-thick, etc?

I'll stick with durex. It's better to be safe than sorry!

I always keep a pack at my place. What's so wrong about women carrying condoms? Women have to be responsible too. I think it's just stupid to rely on your fella to do this all the time.

I'm not sure it's your sex he was referring to.

    Buy Condoms in
    LIDL NO!!!!
    ALDI Maybe
    Tesco probably

Find a woman on the pill, now thats the route to take
This isn't a dig at women not on the pill, ye'll get loving too from guys who dont mind condoms

Even moreso head on up the dirt track, you dont gotta worry about babies, like that old bible story up the bum no harm done etc

This thread is worrying... Loads of people only use contraceptives to avoid getting preggers...

No one seems concerned with STD's :(

ah thats a lot to be worrying about when you're about to get a ride, theres so many different STDs you see whereas. We all want to avoid the KING STD the one that arrives 9 months later and cries and sh1ts for 2 years til you run away to England cos you just cant take it any more and want your 20s back

I'm sure they are manufactured to industry standards but there is a stigma attached to cheap condoms and frankly i wouldn't trust them! Reputable brands ftw

Before the recession how many of ye shopped in Aldi/Lidl?
We all bought known brands(not Tesco/Dunnes brands) with the recession nearly everyone shops in Aldi and Lidl!!!!!

So with time we'll all be buying our condoms from Aldi and Lidl!

His sperm would roundhouse kick her egg right out of the womb.

I'd say their condoms are safe enough. I wouldn't go near em though. Cant be too safe

To be fair, falling foul of the baby batter is one costly mistake and not one to be laughed off by the recession. Bulk buy Durek FTW

I'll stick with durex. It's better to be safe than sorry!
Remember those millions of counterfeit Durex that were sold in regular chemists here a couple of years ago? You would have been trusting some anonymous Chinese Quality Control Manager without knowing it!

Not much chance of buying fake Lidl ones though (in Lidl, anyway).

    Not your ornery onager

I'm sure they're perfectly trustworthy and I'd say they're just as safe as say Durex..... but in the unfortunate event of a hull breach and a sprog, I wouldn't like explaining to the missus or anyone else for that matter that I bought el cheapo condoms. :D
