    Really?
    Comparing her to those people?
How many people did she kill?

Maybe I didn't make my point clear. I'm not saying she was the same, I was pointing out that people here say we should respect the dead regardless of the life they led. So I went to the extremes in an effort to show how idiotic that is. I was not saying she was as bad, or near it. But I would like a little clarification. When can I still dislike someone after they died? When do I have to sugar coat it and pretend to sympathise with a family I never even met?

Ok. She never killed anyone, is that the line? If so why? So I can be a dick all my life, never actually kill anyone and still get respect when I die? Of course no one would know. Maybe if I went on tv and insulted a race people would remember me and then could show their respects. Heck maybe I should have a few kids too, seems to help.

Sorry Terry, I know its not the most popular opinion but it turns my stomach to see people pay respects to a person who had she been a decent human being all her life they would never have heard of her and would have cared less. Its crazy.

It has been unavoidable these past few months to not see pictures or "news" stories about Jade Goody and therefore her slow decline was seen by much of the public. Im sure much of it was all too familiar to many people who have lost loved ones.

It is my hope that this improved awareness of cancer will help others understand more what sufferers and their relatives go through when cancer strikes. Cancer is a horrible disease and one whose effects are not talked about enough in this country considering how awfully widespread it is across all sections of society.

RIP Jade. I was never a fan of your lifestyle, but you dealt with cancer with great dignity and composure for someone so young.

I can't think of a less dignified way to deal with this type of illness TBH but I suppose that was her life (and job) for the last 7 years.

Why? Because Boards is a public forum?

    Oh wait now, it's not.

Can someone explain to me what that means?

What is 'great dignity' in this situation ?

The OP who started the thread with Jade goodys has died didn't leave his own views or opinions on her , good or bad .Now if he had put ' please only post messages of sympathy ' it would have stopped all the trolling / nasty comments and the Mods would have seen fit to remove any posts .But by not requesting above , left it open to be a pay your respects / debate thread.

This girl had it tough from day one.

From reading the papers she had a mother and father who left her down badly. Big brother milked her for what she was worth. She took what she could out of her badly dealt hand and made the most out of it - she made good money out of being herself - warts and all. People loved to read about her uneducated and tough lifestyle - it makes you feel better about yourself, maybe.

In business terms she rocked. She could make money out of nothing, brought her self back after near ruination and even in her death her sons will be reap the fruits of her success.

I take my hat off - no one stupid could have had the success she had. She was just unlucky to die so young. Jade and all the others.

    .

I think that has more to do with Max Clifford and his connections rather than Jade's "genius"

I hope Max Clifford goes to confession to repent what he's done the last couple of months.

    RIP.

She hired him. Her decision. He made her money. "Genius" a bit far. Good business sense - yes.

I didn't like the woman one bit - however that doesn't make it any less sad to see two young boys lose their mother on Mother's Day.

And do you really believe she made that decision all by herself? Or that it was set up between Channel 4 & Clifford himself?

Left to her own devices, Jade would have faded from the public eye as soon as she was evicted from the BB house way back when (as so many others have done), it was Clifford that saw Jade's appeal to the "OK" type magazine worshipers and the potential to exploit Jade for maximum profit.

Like it or loathe it, it is something that Clifford is very good at. It had nothing to do with Jade's own business sense.

    Jade is at peace.
Her two boys are going to need someone sensible and caring around them now.
That's really what they need, more than the money she left them.
Their little lives are going to be very hard because from what I could see,she was a great mam to them.

I agree, from what I have seen neither Jade's mother or husband are what you would call pillars of the community.

Maybe their biological father will be able to provide some sort of stability for the kids.

I couldn't agree more with you on the Jade being lead but the point is she took him on....... regardless of why/how/where she employed the man and made stupid amounts of money.

You can go on about Max Clifford and Channel 4 making the decision all you want but she ultimately decided what to do with herself.

If this was a Max Clifford Appreciation thread i would back you all the way - but it's not.

You are denying Jade her dying wish, where she wanted to be remembered as a "mouthy bird... The one who irritated and entertained people in equal measure"

Jeff does seem to be the obvious choice.
    Sensible and has steady work.
He has also kept a low profile during all this which is a good sign.

I would say Jack will be the one to milk this situation for all it's worth, rake in the money and spend it as quick as he gets it.

Ok in all seriousness. The poor girl, no matter what yout thought of her as a person and how she carried herself, a 27 year olf mother of 2 dying is very sad. I will admit that I thought it was a publicity stunt at first, that's how little I thought of her. But she suffered enough and the fact that she died on mothers day is quite sad really.

Max Clifford on the other hand is a soulless parasite as are those freaks who fuelled the media on this in the first place. I'm relieved it's over now because I've found the whole thing very very uncomfortable.

Have to say I admire the effort she went to, in order to provide for her sons, in her last months. Very sad for her sons to lose their mum at some a young age. RIP
