I've seen this stick too and I tell ya it ain't a pretty site, they should get a new one. It's been in too many an orifice if you ask me.

meh it depends on the forum tbh, some mods are grand and others are strict, some mods take things way too seriously...

Most Mods are grand, just like 90% of boards users.

You'll always have a few Mods that come from that 10% of numpties though

In any of the few dealings I've had with mods I've been impressed.

I questioned an infraction once and while it wasn't withdrawn,
the mod was friendly and took the time to give me a detailed
reason for why they gave the infraction.

I have seen the odd case of unfair punishment being meted out though.
Worst of all, sometimes a strong argument has been made against the
punishment only for the mod to ignore it and refuse to withdraw the punishment.

All the encounters iv had with mods (1 encounter) in which the mod jumped the gun a little, they deleted the comment and gave me a personal apology! I was more than satisfied! Nice guy cant remember the mod tho!

They are on the ball with trolling / abuse. I think that *some* mods are unable to set aside their own beliefs, and dislike for some posters.

My personal favourite is the 'back-seat modding'. Wtf. As much as I respect the time and dedication that goes into the job.. Maybe.. Just maybe.. Some of us are only on to air a view / amuse themselves, believe it or not, but stay within the charter.

Feedback is also met wit clique-ish hostility. So its taught me to not bother my hole.This thread is going to be like shooting fish in a barrell.

But overall, if I didnt enjoy, or have a laugh with some posters, I wouldnt be here. [/honesty]
