Killzone actually maybe I should have mentioned that:o Sorry for the hassle.

No hassles it all - we have a problem with Killzone 2 which is the wholesale cost structure here in Ireland meant we would have to retail it at €62.99 for pre release day dispatch. If you want this you can pm me and I can arrange it. We will have stock sourced from outside of Ireland coming in towards the end of next week which will be retailing at €52.99 but this will be not on the site until the stock is here.

My dilema now is ive put my work address as delivery address as i wanted to get it in here as its in the city and stuff usually arrives a little bit earlier as they have 2 post deliveries 1 at 9 and 1 at 2. So if its not in the 9 o clock one there is still a good chance it will arrive at 2. But now i have Friday booked off work to play killzone so if its not posted today it wont arrive till friday and it will arrive to my work address so ill have to go into the office to collect it ggggrrrrrrr. So i dont know wether to get them to change the address or not

Presuming you all have Killzone 2 orders ?? Will keep you posted.

Rev. kitchen pm me your order number and the alternative address. If we get them out today will leave the original address on. If not today I can change your address and have your docket reprinted so the lads will dispatch to the home address instead.

    Hi Gamesnash,

If you're still taking killzone 2 orders for launch let me know. I might be interested in a copy. Can always send back the play.com one.

Just sent you a pm - had not realised you had posted here. Last copy is reserved for you ...

ps - if the spare copy is still new and sealed we'd be able to organise a decent trade in credit for you which maybe an option.;)

Why are you guys paying 63 when you can get it online for about 38??

Aside from the support of an Irish business - they will have their games by Friday at the latest, some of them will even be there tomorrow. The €38.00 play.com order will arrive towards the middle / end of next week at the earliest. To them it's worth it.

Will you ask the same question to all who will pay the RRP for it in store on Friday ?

If people don't mind waiting for the delivery then its a very good deal at play.com - that is exactly why we did not carry the game for general pre order as a lot of people will have the same view as yourself. :)

Why though, do you hate money, why do you care if Gamesnash makes money or not?

Jesus people must want to play a game badly to pay 25 euros extra for the sake of having it 5 or 6 days earlier.

Yes i will actually, i cant understand anyone not buying their games online nowadays, why pay ridiculous Irish retail prices when you dont have to. The prices in Gamestop and Smyths never fail to amaze me.

Hate money is a bit on the strong side :D and I'm sure whether or not we are making money is not their highest priority either.

Yes people obviously do want to play the game that badly.

You can't understand anyone not buying their games online because your mindset is that the cheapest way is the best way. You are not that bothered at all about any negatives in yourt chosen way to acquire your game. And that's fair enough - to each their own. What works for you etc etc :)

People who shop in the local high street stores have the benefit of getting their game at the time, no chance of post going missing, some people are afraid of using their credit cards online from a security point of view. To each their own - that works for them etc etc :)

Some people go for the happy medium which we provide. Online retailer, generally cheaper than the high street stores, possible next day delivery, a lot less chance of post going missing etc. Yes we are usually dearer than the Jersey based sites who's prices are VAT free but our service level is unbeatable. That service is well worth the extra cost to our customers.

Just posting here cos I see some posters unsure about the service offered by gamesnash and also questioning why use them as opposed to another online site.
In my own experience having bought a few games from them now I can say they provide an excellent service. All my games arrived on time, on the release date if not before and it was only dependant on my own postman as to what time of the day it arrived at that stage.
To give you an idea of why it makes more sense to buy of them as oppose to another online site based outside of Ireland, you have a contact number and an actual address for gamesnash if it came to it that you needed to contact them, they do trade-ins on your games and the clincher has to be customer service is excellent. When you buy off other sites they arent in Ireland, they could be a different time zone and your getting something posted from a different country which could go missing or get delayed and not leave you with much of a comeback in some cases. Also if you get a wrong order by mistake you will have a long wait to get it resolved.

When gears 2 came out mine didnt arrive on the release day, I got on to them and sent an email asking could they confirm mine was posted which they did. At this stage it was around 4pm on a friday and I got a voicemail from gamesnash on my mobile to say should my game not arrive by that evening to ring and they would hand deliver me a copy as early as possible on Saturday morning, and that all i had to do was return my copy when it did arrive on Monday. As it turned out my postman was off sick and there was a delay in post that day and it eventually arrived at 5pm but I dont think you can say you will get service like that anywhere else.

Gamesnash gets the thumbs up from me anyways and no i dont work for them or have any association with them at all before anyone asks.

The way I look at it, it's the same reason I usually order dvds from amazon rather than a site that may be cheaper but take longer to deliver. Even if it is a few euro more I think if someone said "Hey I'll give you a tenner to not watch that DVD for a few days," I'd say thanks but no thanks (or the profanitiy-riddled equivalent), I'll just watch my dvd/play my game now thanks.

So back to an earlier question that was asked and missed nasher of games......do you have these in stock and if not can you get them and of course what price?

BTW, sorry for the link to play.com who are so bad if a delivery goes wrong!!!

And if you wait 2 years you ll get it on platinum for 20

Ive friday booked off work to play killzone and a day off is worth about 140 euro's to me so yea id fork out an extra 23 euro as not to waste the 140 .

Gamesnash have a brilliant reputation for pre-orders. The best I've seen so far. The time GTA4 was released there was a problem with an post and everyone in a certain part of Dublin wouldn't receive there game on time even though they paid for express post. So gamesnash went and hand delivered the game to the affected customers early on release day. You can't really get better service than that !! I've been really happy with the games I've got of them so far. Delivery times have ranged from next day to 2 days which is brilliant compared to play.com and hmv.com who have taken as longas a month.I just wish they'd carry xbox accessories ;) (hint, hint) :)

That is a stupid point, its obviously worth waiting lees than a week to get it for 38 instead of 63.

If you booked a day off work especially to play a computer game then i fear for your future. :pac:

You make some fair points, obviously im firmly on the side of have some patience save some money side but each to their own.

Dont get me wrong you guys are spoken highly of on here and seem to provide a good service. If you are equaling the lowest price i can find on a game im buying ill be sure to throw some business your way. :)
