Post of the day, only because it's so ****ing true.

People keep saying she is selling stories,pictures etc to make money for her kids,she has been doing this for years now and unless she has been conned into buying some magic beans or something I'm pretty sure she has a good chunk of change in the bank.
This is about her own need to be loved and well recieved by the public,all the gossip magazines wouldn't dare speak ill of her now,as they have before. She's been given immunity in the press and the whole reason she went on big brother is to fill some inane need to be famous,well in her last days she will get all the praise and accolades she wanted.I would rather spend the last few days I had on this world with my loved ones making memories they will never forget instead of engaging in interviews and documentaries that will be forgetten in a few weeks.

Yes, this certainly appears so, but not for reasons much better than my first assumption. Here's a few extracts taken from a Wiki page on her:

Jesus a lot of garbage been spoken in this thread, i never particularly liked Jade Goody personally but i still wouldn't be like half the cu.nts in here making jokes about her dying and questioning her motives for sellng stories about her illness.

If she has the power to make as much money for her children therefore making a more comfortable life for them in the future then whats the problem, and if anyone in here says they wouldn't they're a liar or else a fool.

As much as Jade Goody has been a media whore over the past couple of years do people think that she enjoys being photographed and then having to look at pictures of herself bald and in a wheelchair? I somehow doubt it.

Yes she is a representation of how society and media culture has gone these days, but thats societies fault not hers, she started off a stupid girl who came from nothing and managed to make a few bob out of it, anybody in her situation would've done it. Well anybody apart from from the some of the people in the thread sitting on their high horse talking about morals and dignity, ironic really you'd think people talking about how a person should live their life morally would refrain from laughing and sneering at a person dying of cancer.

F that. She chose to be in the public eye, if she is willing the make money from her illness then she should be prepared to be the butt of peoples anger, jokes etc.

The only actual good coming out of the whole thing is that it has highlighted cervical cancer and that women should be screened for it. But Jade Goody isn't to be thanked for that.
