    Where was the meet on?

I think I saw a red TR6 near Whitescross in South Dublin about 5pm yesterday. Remember thinking how few classics are on the roads during the winter.

We meet in the Roadstone club just off the N7 once a month.
The club tries to get 2 runs in a month during the summer and 1 run a month during the winter. We are a very active club going into its 23rd year.

There are a large number of TR's in our club coming from all over.

Makes me feel very guilty about the Dolomite sitting under its cover in the front garden. I really need to start using it. Do you need to be a member to join the club runs Jack?

It would be nice to have you along in the Dolomite on a run, We wont refuse you if your not a member but it would be nice to have you and your Dolly on board the club.
Annual membership is 35 euro a year which isnt a whole lot and you get text message and email reminders 3 or so days before a run or an event..

Looking forward to meeting you and Dolly on run some day soon.

    Jack

Cheers Jack. I was a member at one time but fell by the wayside pretty quickly. I've kept in touch with Ken Nolan though. Might be time to rejoin!

Those Triumphs look lovely. I was behind a Triumph 2000 on monday morning, about 8.30 onthe old N1 near Lissenhall, a blue one with 71D plates and what looked like Wolfrace slot wheels.

That 2000 lives in Lusk Village. Valencia blue I think. Lovely car. Someone else in there has a Stag too.

Ugh, every time I see those Corolla's it always has a fart-cannon exhaust pipe on it and some sort of scummer driving it.

thats very rare, is it an original irish reg? cant see the reg properly but maybe its a UK 7 digit on black plates? I think the seller could have valeted and washed the car to make it more presentable to buyers.

In North America they were. Elsewhere they were called the 181.

That particular one lives under a tarpaulin cover on the side of the road near UCD. I've seen it a few times before.

I missed a few along the way - surprising just what's out there when you start looking.
