Any pay-as-you-go gyms around Dublin 2?

Hi, does anybody know of any pay-as-you-go gyms around Dublin 2 or Merrion Square area more specifically? Would just be very handy to be able to train in town before coming home, so if anybody has any ideas it would be extremely helpful.

Only place I used to know of was a place called World Gym which closed ages ago as far as I know. I know theres a Jackie Skellies in the area and Crunch is on the quays, but Im just looking for a place you can go as you like and just pay whatever the cost is each time you use it, no 6 month direct debit or yearly memberships.....

World Gym used to be on Talbot Street.... it's gone aaaages!!

Maybe Raw up at portabello? I think they do 10 passes for €90 (which isn't too bad I suppose).

Not sure of your route home but there is a gym just off cork st on marrowbone lane. St catherine's community centre. You can pay by the session or by the week.

think there may actually be one around pearse st too? Check the dublin city council web site. Can't link to it as posting from my phone

There's one at the back of Tara Street Dart Station. It's a bit odd, no barbells or squat rack, but otherwise not too bad and it is PAYG.

Is the newish one in Trinity open to the public?
That would probably be closer than the Markewicz.
