Not long. I always read posts on boards out loud.

I live alone, so most days after work I don't talk. Today for example, I haven't talked since 6pm. Week days after work, I'd be more likely to not talk for long periods of time.

If you can read this, you're too close!

Housemate sort-of hates me, and may not talk to me for a few days if the humour takes her. I never shut up though.

The only time I haven't talked for an extended period is when I was either on a sponsored silence (which nobody believed I'd do) or when I used to do 12 hour shifts in a call centre for a well known company. After speaking to over 1,000 people in 12 hours you just don't want to talk to anyone for a while.

I sing along with the tv all the time, sing in the shower and generally don't shut up. Sure, I have odd periods of introspection, but who doesn't?

Yup, I'm definitely as annoying as it says on the tin.

I'll chat away to myself no bother, I tell myself what needs doing etc. Get petrol, put a wash on, defrost mince.........dum da dum.

If i'm ever cracking up i pop to the neighbours for a cuppa but there's usually plenty noise in my house.

Shouting at stupid people online always helps!!

    A week or so.

I was home alone with the dog.

Talking to yourself or to a dog doesn't count right?

    Right.

I don't really like talking to myself. He's a bit of an asshole and tends to make fun of my height. I'll show him.

    No you won't.
    lmao :pac:

A few hours, my mind could wander off when I'm around someone.

Plus, I actually challenged myself one day in school to go without talking. Kind of hard when the teachers call on you so I had to make eye contact and shrug a lot.

oh that reminded me, round 3 of pubgolf, = must immitate a mute throughout entire time in pub. there's nothing like the face of a barman with 12 people standing at the bar pointing and raising their eye brows.
