i've just happened upon this thread having just listened to the liveline thing on a car radio on the way home ... it was a 30min journey, the train was quite full and he was surfing hardcore gay porn at 09:30 in the morning. she was upset 'cos there could have been kids walking past, people at the other side of the aisle could see it and she felt unable to deal with it, which is upsetting for her. she ended up getting off the train. She obviously was not able to either ignore it or ask the guy to be more discreet which is unfortunate but some folks are like that when confronted by something porn in a public place.

personally it doesn't bother me but I do feel sorry for her and they guy does seem to have had little regard for those around him
