    Just for everyone's enjoyment I'd like to draw your attention to the link below, Its a link to the SLA Writers bible, its what the development team used to create the source material for SLA and it actually tells you what the truth of SLA industries is ....... or at least was.

    up until 2002 this was regarded as the big bad secret behind SLA industries this was leaked out into the world, darkfall games freaked out and have completely re-written the writers bible and the truth behind SLA industries so all the information below is now considered to be void and not true.

    this WAS what we all thought the truth was and up until i found out that the truth had been re-written this is what i've based most of my SLA games off.

    Ah hang on now a sec nonn hasn't DONE anything about it yet! He's only just gotten the offer on the table. He can simply tell you about it on COMS if he wishes.

    In fairness i know he probably didnt mean to do this but look at it this way if anything he's stalling the killer while you guys mop up the uglies first.

    in saying THAT tho in hindsight he is a brain waster and they are liable to do just about anything!! up to and including making the killers head explode!!

    Id say about 24 inches seeing as he dropped in on the floor when he was shot.
    He's a mutant so id say while he's in a massive amount of pain and will only be able to limp (if that) he's still very much in the fight. He'll also have to pick up the machete tho in order to use it again

    I will point out none of these targets are armored so if you manage to hit any of them say bye bye to their internal organs. That of course goes double if you crit fail your shooting roll you'd then have a glorious chance to hit someone else in your squad in front of you with a hollow point round too namely tba or Roweeina, the stormers beside you so depending on what he does he could be in the line of fire too.

    come on tho what are the chances of that ???? right ????

    I'm well aware of that. :)

    Whenever I was about to do something stupidly, recklessly dangerous in WHFRP I'd scream "FAITH IS MY SHIELD!" and every damn time it worked, or at least didn't fail badly enough to harm anyone important...

    What's the World Of Progress equivalent, do you think?

    With a hollow point, the bullet is very unlikely to come out and hit someone else, it's one of the reasons it;s an encouraged civilian ammo in some places - does horrible things to the target, but has little collateral damage

    did you read that article i posted on the truth? It has some interesting facts about your friend halloween jack. I don't plan on throwing jack at you just yet. Sarky and Thead have played SLA before trust me when i say this you REALLY do not want to meet halloween jack.


    (I've re-read the rules and background info on jack just to refresh my memory just in case you know you want to tempt fate)

    well now technically jack is the devils own hitman, Slayers God, biterness is the devil. biterness created halloween jack but i get your point and its well taken.

    I was going with a family guy quote :D hows you keeping nice to see your back in the world of 1's and 0's again hows you been?

    Indeed due to intense international and political pressure i bowed to the UN Security Council's wishes and started up the game again. Im glad i did cos im really enjoying running it, You forget all the backward planning and scheming you can do as a GM and since leaving dublin i havent had a proper gaming session since. :eek: :eek:


    On that note to the rest of ye I'm just waiting for thead to post then we can start as its good old fashioned squishy squishy combat time. she rolled the highest so she gets to go first.

    That's a clear breech of the rules of SLA industries section C paragraph 6B sub section 11 that states no country especially france may enter lawfully or unlawfully the residence of an employee of SLA industries without first filling out the green application marked Social SLA Housing entrance exam in triplicate forthwith returning them to the address provided with a self addressed envelope.

    Im sorry qwertz ...... or should i call you .... France ..... but i'll have to ask you to leave the apartment ..... unless you've filled out the forms ..... or sarky is lying to me .....

    sorry folks i was working all weekend!!

    I'll roll up and post the combat round later on this evening (will be late around 11ish)

    Im going to try another method for combat in this game. I'm going to roll up the first round of combat and post the results tonight (but not post the game mechanics rolls until combat is over). You then have 12 hours to post something in the game turns thread if you want to change tactics use ebon abilities etc, I post the next round of combat 12 hours after i posted the last round or if all 6 players have posted something in the game turns thread before 12 hours are up.

    That way you get to decided what to do per round basis.

    Frothers get the chance to dose up on "lets go loopy" drugs
    Ebons get the chance to fire off abilities
    The rest of you get to choose/change ammo type or switch to melee if you wish

    So watch this space combat is coming soon
