Halloween Jack is mort's most notorious serial Killer. He's big, He's bad and you never EVER want to meet him in person. There are many many rumors surrounding who or what Halloween jack actually is. He never speaks to anyone and wields a chain axe (thats an axe with a chainsaw blade on it), He wears the Halloween mask all the time and to date no one has even managed to cut him let alone hurt or even kill him.

Most people say he's supernatural, He's not human and just cant be killed. He's called Halloween jack because well A) the mask quite obviously is a Halloween mask and and he first appeared on Halloween night 100 years ago.

There's nothing cheesy or cliched about halloween thing. He can appear anytime and where on mort and when he does there is usually a body count that would rival most mort action movies. He doesn't appear on halloween night as most civilians will tell you, he's actually worshipped by some of mort's darker inhabitants.

Halloween Jack ties into the deep dark secret behind SLA industries called "the truth" he's tied into it more than you can ever imagine. trust me he's someone you never ever want to meet.

and for the record no he's not going to appear in this game.

And whats going on here qwertz is were just reminiscing about that last time i did a face to face game not on boards. I was the DM of a SLA game that thaed was involved in. She played a brain waster there were 2 in the group and actually to date they were my favorite characters i've seen in a role playing game.

There were ...... erm how can i put this mildly ..... a little erratic and quite unpredictible..... oh and bat sh*t insane. as a DM they kept me on my toes.

anyway they went on a BPN mission to infiltrate a military base on the outskirts of mort as SLA lost all contact with the base. For one reason or anyother (i cant remember why) they arrived and figured out what was wrong. they were about half way through the BPN when they started coming across bodies torn limb from limb. Then they started hearing a chain axe rev up every now and again. shadows move here and there. (tension building) you get the idea.

Anyway to cut a long story short halloween jack turns up we ended the game session that night and i went home and read up about him who and what he is and what he can do and i kacked myself. to cut another long story short the lab the players were standing in exploded (cant remember why) dousing jack in flames and so began the scooby do chase. eventually jack caught up with the players and thanks to some very intelligent and quick thinking from the brain waster she offered a soulbound favor that she'd help jack if he let them all go.

and so he did.

thats what we were talking about.

old times, crazy, fun old times.

trust me tho ..... you really dont want to meet halloween jack. he's a grumpy grouch when you get to know him (picture oscar from sesame street)

Funnily Enough there are some copycat's around. they dont last long since Halloween Jack is regarded as a serial killer nothing more by SLA copycats of halloween jack are hunted down like dogs. In fact SLA industries official line is that the REAL halloween jack died years ago and its just mindless idots carrying on his torch and name. They completely dismiss the stories of him being indestructible, undead or supernatural in any way.

and of course we all know that SLA industries would NEVER lie to us right and everything they say is 100% legit and we should listen to, obey and believe in blindly .......... right guys??? .... ........ guys??

Here is what happened in game turn 5.

highlight game turn 5 with your mouse in the middle of tobias and vigos game turn there is hidden text in bold Uppercase letters. Alternatively you can hit "quote" on game turn 5 copy everything in the window and send it to yourself in an PM and the hidden text will appear as white text, The letters spell a phrase i'll let you work the phrase out for youself

[CHRISTMAS BREAK]

Just waiting for qwertz, raphael and hivemind to post before we get going again however this brings me to the fact that it is christmas week, some of us have kids and as such santa will be making vists this week so i have no problem pausing the game until after the christmas holidays if thats what people want. I'll be off work from 1PM tomorrow afternoon until the 5th of jan so i have unlimited internet access at home for the break. I'll just roll and post up the next game turn when ever everyone is ready.

post in your own time there is no rush we all have Real Lives to live and things to do for christmas (namely my 30th birthday celebrations on new years eve, well my birthdays the 4th of Jan but im doing a new years eve/my 30th birthday combo) I'll be available at random times over the holidays not sure when i'll be on but i'll be checking the game turns and my PM's over the holidays for sure.

That leads me in to say if i dont see or hear from you all before then.
Hope you all have a very happy christmas and a prosperous new year.

If you want to hold off a few days and leave the head cool down from the exams that cool too mate. Im sure your sqaud will understand the fact you have exams matey which lets face it is a hell of a lot more important than the game. if you want to delete the post from the game turns thread and wait a days to get your head together, go out get sozzled thats cool too man. Serious i wasn't trying to pressure anyone into posting. that goes double for people with exams.

oh and qwertz ...... you did noooooothing at all. honest matey just relax, remember what Sla say ... halloween jack doesn't exist.

Heh, that was a great Warpcon. Trust Galway to have zombies in a game where zombies don't exist. Good times, good times.

aye thats true i forgot all about that!!

qwertz im not sure you realize how mentally unhinged your DM actually is!!

were talking about a DM who during an entire event at warpcon wore pink fluffy buuny ears and ran a game (with the bunny ears still on) that was based in celtic ireland during the bronze age while this game was in progress one of the players (who shall remain nameless) kept asking me during every new scene "do i see any zombies" to which i replied ... no of course not its celtic ireland

so about 30 mins later The players were near a crannog and again he asked me do i see any zombies.
to which i responded roll a spot check if you critical fail then yes you do ..... he critically failed at which point in the middle of celtic ireland thousands of years ago a horde of zombies appeared and attacked the players.

were talking about a DM who ...... wait a sec ..... I'm that DM!!!!
