    Maybe we should take on board our country cousin's sensitivities with regards to their not coming from Dublin and henceforth refer to dublin as "city" rather than "town". Given that dublin is the only city on this island, not only will this avoid any confusion but will also ensure that the spud gobblers beloved chip's remain firmly embedded on their shoulder.

    Actually it's Dudess' name that's blacked out. I couldn't be arsed adding someone to my ignore list just to get a pic so I googled one from Boards that was posted by SteveC. I could have left it uncensored since Dudess is from Cork though. :pac:

    It was obvious in this thread but it goes too far.

    I remember some post here about a pub call Whelans going on fire and of course everyone knew where that was........
    And that thread ended up like this one

    Or the usual posts over in Wicklow forum, "I'm in Greystones, when is the bus into town?" :confused:

    Q: How do you know a culchie?
    A: They call the centre of Dublin, the "city centre", you know like all the signs and your council do. The "corpo" as the Dubs call it if that even exists anymore
