I love this man- he is a creative genuis although he has ousted many admirers with such stubborn opinions on fur. So many other resources now a days. Probably few that hold the lustre and warmth of fur. Had to LOL at comments of size zero models.

He is so fabulously French! :)

Hmm, he does have a point though.

He does point out that we eat meat and where do you think leather comes from?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,092 ✭✭✭pseudonym1

Totally forgot that always precieve him as French clue -in the name suppose - anyway its his attitude I love! Dont agree with him -love the fact he has the bravery to say such things although go against the grain and he is an absolute genuis!

Absolutely, nobody could argue with his point. If it weren't for the brave hunters, them baby seals could grow up and develop weapons of mass destruction and launch them from their secret icy bases of doooom.

The UN would give them the 'seal of approval'.

Animals only kill for food or when they feel threatened, so are unlikely to attack if left alone. When was the last time you saw a tiger showing off a brand new human-skin...?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

A mixture of good points and retarded statements. When we routinely eat meat and wear leather, anyone who does either has no moral argument against the wearing of fur whatsoever. The principles are the same. Jesus though, some wild shíte in there too.

The man's right. I'm glad somebody's finally speaking out about this. Tiny adorable seal pups killed my whole family. Never underestimate the tiny adorable little b*stards.

Look into those tiny adorable eyes - and know that that's a killer's stare.

It would be awesome if I could get a bag that said Made in China on it, but was made in Taiwan.

Leather is a by-product of the meat industry so it doesn't really deserve to be compared to the fur industry. Leather is largely obtained from the carcasses of animals that were killed for their meat, whereas fur is gotten from animals just for their fur. So many animals have faced extinction just because their fur is considered fashionable.

It's all true. I hear pasty Irish skin coats are all the rage with Chinese dogs these days.

When man crawled out of his cave many years ago, he killed for survival. Be that the meat to eat or the coat to wear to keep him warm in the winter months while he hunted that amount what was needed only to survive.

When we progress from the killing of other living things for the leisure persuit of sport or fashion (than basic survival), that where the likes of this Largerfeld wacko and I differ.

There is basic necessity to survive and it will always be that way. If one kills an animal for (many) survival reasons, it understandable that the other parts will be found a use for also.
When (for parts there of) the animal are killed though for something other than survival needs - as far as I'm concerned, fashion can go to hell.

There is justification in killing for feeding the family.
There is no justification in killing just to look good!

I see someone with fur, I think nothing of them but they to be a vain "I love me" gobschite.
