Go to evening mass on Christmas Eve with the folks
Go home for some cans and a movie
Wake up Christmas Morning around 10
Exchange presents with family and get dressed
Dinner at around 2ish (My favourite part of Christmas)
    Out to see the relatives
Home to gorge on processed crap
Fall into a deep food sleep while watching whatever movie is on RTE

    St. Stephen's Day- Sleep

Was all set to the freeze the knackers off myself again Christmas morning but a badly timed ear infection has put an end to it this year.:(

Did it years ago, certainly beats the usual Christmas morning, that's for sure.:p

This year is going to be a lot more relaxed than any other year. Usually it's Christmas Mass on Christmas Eve at half 7 (that's still happening)
Then Christmas morning get up, exchange gifts with family, send texts to everyone saying "Happy Christmas!"
Eat breakfast - usually fruit and cereal
Listen to my Dad sing Christmas songs with his own words
At about 1.30 go to my aunts and pick up alcoholic uncle who's already 10 down (this year, he's not coming for the first time, so I think this part of Christmas is being abandoned!)
    At 3 have the dinner
At 3.30 be telling the parents to SHHH during RTEs Christmas Movie (most likely Shrek)
Then after dinner and another unwatched Christmas Movie listen to Mam SHHH me as the soaps start
Wonder why so many soaps are on Christmas Day
Drink the rest of the day away in front of the tv
Roll eyes with brother as mother talks about soaps
Feel crappy from so much junk
    Sleep

So what's it to be lads - mass or selection box?
Well i'll probably spontaneously combust if i go into a church, so selection box for me...the morn will go as follows: wake up to noisy nieces, music from a neighbours tv or kids toys, and the smell of a fry. Now none of this is my cup of tea, so i'll sleep for a few more hours:D

Im in Lanzarote at the moment so my Christmas morning will start with a nice Irish fry up in the hotel, followed by a few hours lazying about by the pool. We have dinner booked by the harbour for the evening, followed by a fireworks display on the beach that night.

This year will be different because it'll be my first year as santy, but I imagine it'll go like this.
Up at 9ish for a fry. Open presents, mass at 11, then off to the in laws for more pressies before my sisters for dinner at 3. Off to play cards and a feed of beer then for the night before a Chinese delivery late on to ward away the hunger. Looking forward to it now!

doubt there will be too many chinese open:rolleyes:

    Can't wait!

Drill for tomorrow - get up, exchange pressies with OH, have breakfast.
Pack the car and head to OH's family for Christmas dinner. Give pressies and gorge. Relax for a bit.
Head back to Dublin to my parents Christmas evening for tea. Give pressies and gorge.
Watch plenty of tv, relax, sleep.
Wake up Stephen's Day for Christmas Day 2 at my parents. Gorge once more on turkey, ham, veg, numerous forms of potato and plenty of chocolate.
Get up on the 27th for Christmas Day 3 with extended family. More gorging and present giving.

Have my expandable waist-line clothes at the ready ;)

We don't celebrate the religious side of Christmas. But it's easier for us just to go along with the whole "holiday" rather than not do it at all.

    - Get up
    - Give presents to family
    - Have some toast || Take medication
    - TV
    - Dinner || Take medication
    - Read
    - Bed

So what's it to be lads - mass or selection box? Who goes for the traditional fry up or who goes for the more alternative dutch gold breakfast? Who gets up to see the joy on the kids faces or who wants to go downstairs to tell them to shut the fcuk up as you're trying to sleep off a hangover?:)

Who cares? I say f*ck christmas. Just go with the flow so you don't look like a spoil sport and hope it passes by fairly quickly.

    Get up about 10

    Get a fry

Go to mass (family tradition, priest is as funny as hell, we get a birthday cake in mass, WTF?)
    .

I'd imagine it has to do with someone's birthday.
Thier name is on the tip of my tongue.

Put up the christmas decorations (on Christmas Eve again!)
Start the prep for tomorrow's dinner this afternoon.
Stick the ham on to boil before heading to the local about half 10.
Get picked up by the parents and head to midnight mass.
Come home from mass, take the (hopefully fully cooked monster) ham off and stick on a DVD.
Divvy out the gifts, laugh at how over-excited my sister is and have a few drinks with the family.
Go to bed around 4-ish for 4 hours kip.
Get up and start the stuffing, which will inevitably take hours, cook the rest of the dinner, set the table etc.
Sit down around 3.30 for dinner.
Have birthday cake for my sister when there's a bit of stomach space.
Cousins will call over around 8 for sandwiches, tea and cake, a few drinks and copious choccies.
    Head to bed around 2.
Sleep all day Stephen's day. (Looking forward to that bit!)

Sick bastard, you don't deserve Christmas. Neither does that tramp of a sister of yours.

Get up and have a full Irish, head out for a walk with a can of kopperburg and sister in tow- get home and start on the pressies while downing a southern comfort (nyum nyum) Let the drink kick in so I can enjoy being with the family for 24 consecutive hours. Eat a monstrous dinner and fall asleep with my auld pal GTA and a pint of southy and 7up.... It's what Christmas was made for!

Quality times indeed people. I'll be the out-law at the in-laws. Up with 2 kids about 8. Little one is too young for santa but the elder is just getting into it. Laugh at the missus and her brothers and sister practically falling over themselves with thank yous for crappy gifts. Politely "decline" offer of drink from mother in law (port or sherry - sorry but i'd do time for a bulmers). Sit down for dinner (praying father in law chokes on turkey - so I can "legally" punch him in the gut to dislodge said foodstuff!!:D Then it's an afternoon of sh1t tv and sh1t conversation followed by the mother and father of all sit down toilet blockers - then the bed. Happy christmas all!!:D

Ya, at least be a gentleman and go on the outside.Shame on you:mad:

I'll be up at 7 to open presents. Then pc and xbox until about 9/10, taking a break for dinner and selection boxes.Take a break then cos party starts at my house. At around 1/2,I'm bored of the party cos all the old people are drunk and playing **** music so back to the xbox until around 5/6 when it usually ends.

My eyes shall be wrecked i tell ye
